I watched as everyone enjoyed themselves, while I sat down stuffing my face with the amazing food Carmen made. I needed a moment to relax and get off my feet due to my aching ankles.

"Beautiful isn't it? I'm so happy you got married." Kathy says.

"Me too. You did an amazing job by the way. Justin would've hired a wedding planner but..he was rude. He lowkey called me fat, Justin kicked him out so, we went back to plan A...which was you. He's known for kicking people out."

"Yeah. I've noticed that. His favorite line is 'get the fuck out or shut the fuck up'. Usually, he would say that to me but I think we're getting along just a little bit." She laughed. "Patricia was wanting to bring Jeremy but I told her no. Justin wouldn't want his day ruined by seeing him, I'm happy he's not here."

"Yeah. I don't want him upset either, his dad and I are quite friendly though. I just hate that I'm being brought into it. I don't have a problem with Jeremy."

"Of course you don't. See you soon. Congratulations."

"Thank you, see you soon," I said hugging her.

"Jessa and I are gonna get going. We kinda figured you two want to go ahead and get to your honeymoon. Audrey's upstairs getting packed."

"I'm so sorry, I should've told her to pack yesterday but, my mind was everywhere."

"It's okay. Do me a favor? Don't worry about Audrey while you're away, I'll keep an eye on her."

"Thank you, thanks for doing this."

"I want to spend more time with her anyway. We'll have fun together."

"You're a good dad. I'm happy you're in her life, I couldn't imagine taking her away from you. She wouldn't want me to do that and I owe you that much. And thank you for coming, happy you and Jessa made it. She's perfect for you."

"Thanks. I'll tell her to say goodbye before she leaves. Have fun." He says walking off.

"Can't believe the night is almost over. I brought you some cake. If I could, I would love to hire Carmen as a personal chef she's amazing. No offense to my mom, she's an okay cook." Justin says.

"Yeah. Carmen is an amazing cook. I would love for your mom to come over for dinner sometime. Spend time with us y' know. And of course, your brother and sister can come also. Audrey had fun playing with them. It's nice to have her around family. I'm happy we took a group picture with everyone."

"Yeah. It was nice. I didn't think we would make it this far, to be honest. I just kept fighting, we were in a good place and I wasn't going to give that up. Look, no matter where we are in our marriage, good or bad. Could we at least talk it out, like adults."

"Of course," I said smiling. He smiled too, and passionately kissed me, smashing a piece of cake in my face.

"Don't get upset. It's tradition. Come on, do me." He insisted. I smashed a chunk of cake into his face. It was a lot of fun, a good feeling too. "This is really good. Is Audrey gone?"

"No. Not yet, I forgot to tell her to pack. I think spending time with her dad is good for her. Maybe she can keep an eye on him. He wants me to reconsider staying for a week."
