Drunk

You giggled as you helped Niall get on his feet.

"Are you laughing at me Y/N?" Niall asked, stumbling a bit. You shake your head as you take his shoes off.

You were best friends with Niall. You just got back from a party and Niall had drank too much. You were in his bedroom. You always found it funny when Niall was drunk, but he hated when you laughed at him.

"I'll be back. Stay here." You ordered him, walking out of his bedroom. You went into the bathroom, grabbed some aspirin from the cabinet, and went into the kitchen to get him a glass of water. You came back in the room and saw Niall singing to himself. You smiled at him. He looked up at you and smiled.

"Here." You said, handing him the water and pill. "Take this." You added and he nodded, taking it.

"Your drunkenness should wear off in about thirty minutes." You assured him and he chuckled.

"You sure know how to take care of me." He slurred, handing you back the glass. You smiled and sat it on the dresser.

"That I do." You agreed, taking a seat next to him. It stayed quiet for awhile before you got back up.

"I'm going to go in the living room. Goodnight." You told him, and as soon as you started walking, he stopped you. 

"Stay." He said, looking at you with puppy dog eyes. You eventually gave in and nodded, turning off the lights and getting into the bed as he joined you. You stayed opposite of each other until his arms wrapped around you, pulling you closer.

"Y/N?" He said.

"Yes Niall?" You asked, closing your eyes.

"I love you." He whispered in your ear, causing your eyes to open. You turn towards him. 

"You what?" You asked cautiously. The room stayed silent as you began to hear soft snores. You sighed and turned back around, keeping his arms around you. You smiled as you thought about what he said.

He loves you.

And that's all you needed to hear before closing your eyes and going to sleep.
