''Please Darius, why would I ever do that to you?'' I ask, my eyes pleading with him. Just one kiss, I think, and I'm the queen of this stupid game.

''Alexa, stop.'' He whispers, and I hear the hurt in his voice. I know he wants to kiss me, he wants to take this relationship to the next level. My heart breaks a little but I don't let anything show.

''I think I'm falling in love with you,'' I whisper in disbelief. I look around, trying to seem confused as if nothing like that has ever happened to me before.

His hands cup my cheeks and his brown eyes dig into my greenish-blue ones. ''Do you promise, this isn't the Game talking?'' He demands. My fingers do it on their own, they cross behind his back.

''Of course not.'' And then I see it, that flame in his eyes as he leans in, giving in as all the other boys have always done. His lips crash on mine and the kiss takes two seconds before a flash interrupts it.

He stops dead, frozen mid-movement with a betrayed look on his face.

Stay strong, I tell myself.

I smirk and step away from him, shrugging one shoulder, ''You should've known better.''

He gapes at me before his eyes become black with anger, ''You lying bitch!''

I turn around, not looking one more second toward him. People keep walking on the sidewalk, giving him weird looks as he continues to yell after me. That's why you have to do it in a public place, less chance for the guy to become violent or whatever else.

I look at the picture and waste no time going on Instagram.

I tag Darius with the picture and type one short message, sending a warning to every guy who has ever thought about playing that stupid game. Every guy who had ever decided to play a girl. No one can ever, and I say ever, touch us again.

'I'm the Queen now.'
