''Stop moving,'' Liz grumbles but I can't help my nervousness. We finally settled down on a red dress that opens in the back with lacy straps, the skirt going to my knees. Even though the weather is getting cold outside, Liz told me Cameron usually brought all of his girls to a fancy restaurant for their first dates.

We then decided to pull my hair up so we could see my back and light makeup to not look too much like a doll.

And now I can't stop moving as she tries to apply my mascara.

''I'm trying you know but I don't want to go. He's such a douche.'' I say.

''It has never bothered you before if it was for the Game.'' She replies.

''I don't want to play, I can't even pull off a flirty face in his presence since I know the Game started. And Ayden confessed he wanted to date me.'' I blurt out the last part.

''That's awesome!'' Then she stops squealing, ''Wait, that's why you don't want to play.''

''Not exactly but I'd prefer if it could be already over.''

''You have to make him fall for you first and I think that this dress is perfect for it. I'm done.'' She steps away and I get up to go see myself in my full-length mirror. I try not to gasp.

''Liz, you're awesome.'' I chuckle, twirling around.

''He won't be able to keep his hands off you.'' She states, stepping next to me.

''I have no trouble making a guy kiss me, but falling in love? It feels impossible.'' I say discouraged already.

''Just be yourself, it worked very well with Ayden.'' I want to laugh but can't.

''Let's go, I don't want to be late.'' I look at the clock and it's already thirty past seven.

I put on my long black coat and low black boots that fit with my dress before we make our way across the yard and to Ayden's. The boys are already waiting for us in the living room, watching some movie with The Rock. I put my coat on the bench next to the front door.

''Damn Alexa, you look awesome,'' Jake says when he sees us and I see his eyes look toward Liz, brightening up a little.

''God.'' Ayden breathes out before laughing nervously, a hand behind the back of his neck, ''It changes from the work uniform.''

I laugh as well and go sit with them. We watch the movie in silence but I keep moving, unable to control the stress building in me. At some point, Ayden passes an arm over my shoulders and I barely relax against him, still thinking about Cameron.

The doorbell rings through the house and I shiver. Not now, not ever.

''It'll be alright,'' Ayden whispers in my ear for the billionth time and I only have to trust him. I pull on my coat as he opens the door to discover a very handsome Cameron in a black suit, and a white shirt underneath. His brown hair is nicely placed, just messy enough to make him look still like a bad boy. His green eyes roam my body, a flame dancing in them. I almost blush.

''Hey princess, you ready?'' He asks, his usual smirk planted on his face, and I control myself to be pleasant.

Think about the Game, think about the Game, ''Yes of course.'' I try a flirty smile and look at Ayden still glaring at Cameron. I give him a kiss on the cheek and he seems surprised at first but then understands. Game mode.

Cameron takes hold of my hand and pulls me outside into the cold night. I give one last look toward Ayden and then let Cameron guide me to the car.

I get inside and he drives off in his Subaru. I grip the door handle, trying to breathe.
