''Cameron, please I thought you said you loved me.'' A girl whines in the cafeteria and everyone is staring. Cameron turns his bright green eyes on her only for a second before continuing on ignoring her.

Yeah, that happened sometimes. Another average day at Skylar High.

''Poor girl,'' Lizzy says next to me as she shakes her head. I give her a sympathetic smile, knowing very well Cameron did this to her once even though I warned her.

''She'll get over it. I heard he didn't let her easy last night.'' I say and catch a pair of brown eyes in the process. Darius.

I look away immediately.

''Can we talk about what you did? It was about time.'' Jake says in front of me, a glint in his blue eyes.

''The first Queen, you've made me proud,'' Liz says a hand over her heart.

''It wasn't easy though, he looked so broken,'' I say feeling guilty.

''But it was worth it.'' Jake shrugs.

''Don't be so rude.'' Liz retorts to him. ''You did what's right for all the girls and I hope all the guys will get the message, they can be played just the way they keep playing with innocent girls.''

The Game started two years ago but only the guys knew the rules of it - at first. The goal? Get the opposite sex to kiss you and take a picture or video to show the world they've been played. It's sick and twisted. Some guys took too much pleasure in this wicked game. Once girls knew, they started playing but not much got far, boys always took the lead and won, asking for their buddies to take pictures or videos in case she tried to pull something.

''I guess so.''

''Hey, guys.'' Ayden sits beside me and drops his right arm over my shoulders.  ''Nice picture you took last night, it was priceless.'' He says a smile tugging on his lips.

''Whatever.'' I laugh a little.

''I guess that means you're alright after all? What's the feeling to be a Queen?'' He asks a smirk on his face.

Ayden and I have known each other for way too long, I can't even remember when our friendship started. He's been living next door to me forever and no one knows me best than him. I won't lie, we once wanted to go out but it never occurred, it was never the right time for us.

Now I'm the Queen and maybe it's our time.

''I guess it was harder because it took me four months to get him to kiss me.'' I roll my eyes.

''You're good, I think I might've gotten tired of it at some point,'' Jake says across the table.

''As if you were a big player anyway.'' Liz retorts and he smirks.

''I am, I just don't like everyone to know.'' He winks and I know he's not lying. He's not necessarily playing the Game but he likes the company of other girls.

''I heard you're the new Queen.'' I hear someone say behind me and I try my best not to go rigid.

''Go get lost Cameron.'' I snap without turning around.

''I just came to congratulate you, princess.'' I can hear the smug smile.

I turn finally and glare at him.

''It's Queen to you.''

''Not still.'' He smirks and walks away. I frown and look at my friends as all of his friends laugh while they follow him.

''What was that supposed to mean?'' Jake asks but I simply shrug as I watch the back of my foreign enemy leave the cafeteria. I look around and see the girl he's been ignoring crying with her friends surrounding her.
