The rest of the week I worked and tried to ignore the text messages Cameron sent me every single day. Soon, Christmas break was over and we all had to go back to school.

I walk down the hallway towards my first class to find Cameron already sitting at the desk next to mine. He's drawing, his body hovering over the paper. He's concentrated with a crease between his eyebrows when I sit next to him. He looks up to smile slightly and forget the paper.

''Hey, how are you doing?''

''Good, you?'' I say shrugging a shoulder and taking out my things from my bag.

''Yeah, I wasn't sure since you never answered any of my texts.''

''Sorry I was busy with work and catching up with school works...'' I trail off and he simply nods.

I look over his shoulder to see what he's been drawing.

''Oh, you continued the project. That's good because all my research has been done so when you're ready we can all put that together.''

''How about tonight after school?'' He asks.

''Is your family home?'' I wish it wasn't a recurrent question but I felt safer when it was only us two. I loved his family, well his mother and little brother, but it would be easier if I stopped seeing them already, getting less attached.

''Not still.'' He returns to drawing and I leave him be. The teacher soon tells us that we are working on our project and so we start working on it already, almost finishing it.

Lunch arrives in no time and Lizzy and I sit with Cameron's friends. Darwin puts his arm over my shoulders as soon as I join him.

''Tell him, Lexa.'' He says all proud as he lifts his chin up in the air.

''Tell who what?'' I ask frowning.

''Tell Will here that you were right and Cameron was wrong.''

''I'm dating Cassie officially and we've kissed... many times.'' Will blushes furiously and I laugh, pointing a finger at Cameron.

''You were so wrong and I was so right!'' I chant before high-fiving Darwin.

''Again, I wish I hadn't missed that party,'' Lizzy grumbles next to me.

''Next time,'' Cameron says smiling at Lizzy.

''When do we meet her?'' I ask Will.

''Soon I guess but for now, we're taking it slow.'' I nod at his wise words.

''Sex details will have to wait then.'' Darwin sighs and Will kicks him under the table.

''Perv.'' I laugh.

''What? Don't tell me you aren't curious how Will... You know?''

''Oh, God please, I'm eating,'' I whine before pushing away my lunch.

''That was truly gross Darwin, very gross.''

''Ronny, c'mon man,'' Darwin says, his eyes waiting.

''Nah, it was gross. I clearly don't want to hear that conversation.'' He laughs lightly shaking his head.

''What have you done to this boy? He's smiling and all.'' Lizzy whispers in my ear and I shrug.

''I have no clue.'' I whisper back.

The ride to his house is quiet. I get the feeling that he has something to say but he doesn't start the conversation so I sit there silent.

As soon as we arrive, we go up to his room and start working. After not even an hour, we are already done with the work.

Cameron sighs, ''I don't think I have ever finished homework this early before the due date.''

''Don't tell me you usually do it the night before.''

''Like everyone else? Of course.'' We both laugh and quiet down.

''What's up with you today? You're acting... strange?''

He laughs awkwardly, a hand reaching his hair just like every time he's nervous. ''I just really liked that day when I woke up next to you and, I don't know why, but I thought it had changed some things between us.''

''It did change something,'' I admit. ''It's just... My mother learned about me playing the Game and she said things that got me thinking and I thought maybe it was better for us to have some space.''

''I really don't want to hurt you, you know? If - When I do it, it's not my intention. I'm just very bad at this kind of thing.''

''You don't have to explain, I hurt you too sometimes.''

He smiles lightly, ''We're quite good at that.''

He stands up and drags me with him. He licks his lips, looking at mine. ''You're addictive, you know that?''

I smirk, ''Heard it a couple of times.''

''Modest.'' He whispers before he kisses me slowly. My arms wrap around his neck on their own accord and he pulls me closer.

I feel his hands search the skin under my sweater and I deepen the kiss, savoring him.

The kiss becomes hungrier and warmer and he takes me in his arms, his hands on my thighs, my legs wrapped around him. I lose sense of time when my back hits the wall behind me. He starts kissing down my neck and the soft spot behind my ear, making me moan in pleasure.

The next second, he's holding me with one hand while the other clears his bed in one big sweep, letting our books fall on the floor. My back hits something soft and I don't waste time getting his shirt off, wanting so much more. He was wrong, I'm not addictive, he is.

I throw the clothing away, making sure he doesn't get the idea to take it again before pushing him, making us roll so I'm on top. I get rid of my sweater, leaving myself in my bra. I feel the blush rising on my cheeks as he looks from my face to my body.

''You're killing me.'' He says huskily and pulls me back to him. I start kissing him down his neck, his chest, and his abs until I meet fabric. I unzip his jeans and pull them off but before I can do anything else, he rolls us over again and it's his turn to explore my body with his mouth. He starts at my neck and reaches behind my back to get rid of my bra. He kisses me in places I've never been kissed, making me arch my back.

Soon he gets rid of all my clothes, leaving me naked in front of his scrutinizing gaze. I feel like hiding myself but he takes hold of my wrists.

''You're perfect.'' He tells me, staring deep into my eyes and not my body. He lets go of one wrist and touches softly my cheek. ''You're the only one I want.''

He kisses me softly and gets rid of the rest of his clothes. His body is so warm against mine, fitting perfectly.

''I didn't lie the other day, I never...'' I trail off searching his face.

''Me neither.'' He smiles nervously which reassures me in a way I can't describe. At least I wasn't the only one nervous.

''You tell me if I hurt you.'' He whispers softly in my ear.

Words can't describe the feeling. As he gently lets me go at the end, both of us breathing hard.

He takes me in his arms, pulling me close to his body as if afraid I'd disappear.

''Alexa I-''

''No.'' I shake my head against his chest. ''Don't say it please.'' I couldn't hear it now because right now felt like a dream and those words were the reality coming back too soon.
