Noise from downstairs woke me up that morning, light slipping from the curtains. I roll over groaning and bump into something warm.

My eyes snap open to see a sleepy Cameron right in front of me. He looks younger when he's fast asleep and I need to hold back my hand from getting his hair out of his face. He'll soon need a haircut.

I notice the t-shirt he was wearing last night is still on and I wonder which guy sleeps in a t-shirt. Or maybe it's only Ayden who sleeps in only his boxers.

Ayden.

I roll on my back and sit up, leaning on my hand to stay up. I look around in the dim-lighted room until my eyes settle on my phone. My mom must be freaking out. Or she'll think I'm at Ayden's. I decide to grab my phone which is on the bedside table on Cameron's side.

I start closing the distance on all fours, trying not to wake Cameron up as I lean over him to grab my phone. I try to reach it, the tip of my fingers barely brushing on the cellphone case when I lose balance and stumble on top of Cameron.

''Ugh.'' He groans as his hands search for the reason for the impact. His hands stop as he grips the back of my thigh and his eyes spread open.

''What are you doing?'' He asks in a husky voice.

''Trying to get my phone, duh,'' I say in an obvious voice and I'm about to retreat to my side of the bed but he tightens his grip on me.

''Where are you going? You still don't have it.'' He smirks up at me.

''You're kind of taking all the place so I'll just walk around the bed.'' I retort but something in his eyes tells me I shouldn't have done that.

''Should've thought about that earlier.'' He says wickedly before starting to tickle me on the sides.

I jump back but he follows the movement and jumps right on top of me as he continues to tickle me.

''Stop!'' I cry out laughing as I try to kick him off but it's almost impossible.

I kick with my legs and arms, trying to break free from his hold, and at some point, he stops to replace himself but I take it as my chance to break free. I sit up in a swift movement before pushing him to the side. He falls to the floor, bringing me down with him.

I fall once more on top of him, my head on his chest as we both breathe heavily, laughing. His arms slip around my waist when I lift my head up, and our noses brush.

''Good morning.'' He whispers with a giant grin.

''Little jerk,'' I whisper back teasingly and get up, pushing slightly his face to the side so he doesn't get the idea to kiss me.

''Is our moment already gone?'' He pouts mockingly.

''Oh yeah, it is.'' I start walking away.

''Good, because I wanted to tell you you should go take a shower you smell.'' My head snaps back toward him in pure astonishment.

''And you should brush your teeth.'' I retort even though I know it's not a very powerful insult.

I grab my phone and stare at no messages. At least my mother didn't freak out.

''What are we doing today?'' I ask him.

He raises his eyebrows, ''I see that I'm growing on you.''

''For the game handsome.'' I mock and get closer to where he's sitting on the floor. I lean over, lifting his chin so he looks at me, ''I'll now borrow your shower.'' I wink with that and walk away again.

As I near the door of the bathroom, I get my sweater off slowly and only drop it when I'm in the bathroom, closing the door with my foot before turning around. And I lock it.
