"Hey Pete, what's wrong?" Tony asked kneeling in front of him.

"Nothing, I'm fine," he said with a small smile.

"Your something kid, but you're not fine," Tony said looking at Peter then to Bruce.

"I just need to finish this and then I'll get out if your way," Bruce said picking up the bandages and started wrapping them around Peters wrists. And then unlocked the door and left locking it again.

"Why do you both keep locking the door?" Peter asked.

"Nat's home and I don't know how you'd feel meeting her like this," Tony told him.

Peter could tell he was missing something out, "and...." he said with a small smile.

"And we wanted to keep you safe once you woke up and both decided this would be the best way," he said with a small smile.

"Okay," Peter said feeling guilty.

"So, are we going to talk now?" Tony asked sitting on the stool that Bruce moved over when doing the check up.

"I guess," Peter said quietly.

Tony smiled a quick small smile then it disappeared. "What happened, why are you covered in bruises?"

"I uhhh...It was from when I went out on patrol the other day," Peter lied hoping he'd believe it.

"I know thats not true the last time you were in your suit was going home from here and before that I don't even know. You know Karen has a history of when you go out?"

"Shit," Peter said quietly and to himself.

"Language," Tony said with a smile remembering Steve. "What actually happened?"

"It doesn't matter, can we just talk about something else?" Peter asked looking at the floor.

Tony sighed, "alright, but I'm coming back to it later."

Bruce walked into the kitchen and got a glass of water and turned around to see Natasha sitting behind him.

"How long have you been sitting there for?" Bruce asked sitting next to her.

"Not to long. How is he?" She seemed to care a lot even though she hadn't met him properly.

"Not how you'd expect a 15 year old kid to be after a coma, he's almost perfect physically. But mentally. I don't know, it was always hard to tell. He tries to fake okay but we can see though it now," he said drinking half of the water.

"Well that's what people do, when they're not alright. They pretend they are," Nat said with a small smile. Giving him a kind of 'you do this' look.

They stayed there talking for about an hour before Tony walked around the corner. He got a glass of water and went back not answering the questions being asked.

"He didn't seem alright," Nat said to Bruce after he walked round the corner.

"No, he didn't," Bruce said worried about his friend.

"Here you go kid," Tony said passing the glass to Peter.

"Thanks," Peter said quietly not looking at him.

"Did you really mean that, what you said before?" Tony asked looking at him with worry in is eyes.

"Yeah, a..a little..I guess." Peter still didn't look at Tony he could imagine his face though.
