Trigger warning
It had been two months and Peter had been in a good place. Better than he had been in a while, at least that's what he told everyone and what his smiles told everyone.

May was leaving on a business trip for a month and was leaving at noon, Peter was going to be staying at home by himself.

She wanted him to stay at Ned's but he convinced May to let him stay there and they ended up agreeing that he'd go to Ned's if something happened or when he needed food. And to meet Ned before school at his house instead of where they usually meet.

"Bye May have a good time, love you," Peter said hugging her.

"Love you too, don't get into any trouble. And don't get yourself killed," she said pulling away from the hug and kissing him on the head.

He waved her off and went back into the apartment he could finally wear just a t-shirt without May freaking out and getting really worried seeing his scars.

He got dressed in one if his science pun t-shirt dark blue jeans and a grey zip up hoodie and went to meet Ned at the library to study for the math test they had on Monday.

Peters grades were starting to go back up, he was less late for school and was starting to go to all his classes again. He knew it was only a matter of time before things started to slip again, before he started to not care more than he already didn't.

He stopped isolating himself from Ned and Mj as well. But Travis's grandma had gotten ill so he had to go home back to Washington to be with her.

So he probably wouldn't see him again but he figured something out about himself in the short time they were together. Peter had figured that he was bisexual.

"So May's really trusting you by yourself for a month? That's crazy man, I don't think I'd trust you for a day," Ned said quietly laughing.

"Oh, well thanks Ned, I didn't think she'd agree though. But it's easier to be spiderman at my house then at yours so I had to," Peter whispered.

"Yeah I get that. Hey did you get 83 for question 5?"

"No I got 42." Peter said looking at him confused, "oh there you done it wrong see," Peter said showing him what he'd done wrong.

"Oh right yeah forgot about that," Ned whispered back.

Peter got home at 9pm he was going to get dinner but he didn't, he had put to much weight on in the past month that he had to lose, although he was really skinny. Not as ill looking skinny as he was. He didn't see it before and doesn't see it now.

He just got into his pyjamas and went to bed he was exhausted and fell asleep as soon as he got into bed.

He woke up at 4am and put his spidey suit on and just swung around the city looking for crimes there weren't many so he just sat at the top of the tallest building after and watched the sun rise at half 6.

He didn't like weekends because he never knew what to do so he just stayed there, he had just watched the quiet-ish city turn loud and busy like it usually was and ended up leaving at quarter to ten. Just swinging around the city helping people on his way round on his way home.

Peter climbed in his window took his suit off and put it away. He went to have a shower he brought the new blade he'd gotten just in case.

He ended up using it cutting deeper than he ever had and even with his spidey healing they would take a while to heal. It wasn't long before he was standing with the in the shower water bounding off his head standing in a puddle of blood.

He didn't know what to do so he done what he usually done and bandaged it all up and hoped that'd be enough.

Peter cleaned the bath so that the blood didn't stain and got into his pyjamas and lay down on the couch and watched cartoons. He felt completely numb again he didn't know if he could keep faking okay for much longer.

Until there was a knock at the door, Ned's knock. Peter quickly put a sweatshirt over his pyjama shirt, since he had short sleeves, and opened the door.

"Hey Ned, what're you doing here?" Peter asked as he let him in.

"My mom made me come check on you, make sure your doing alright," Ned said looking at his obviously tried best friend. "You look really tired did you sleep at all?"

"Yeah fell asleep as soon as I got home yesterday," Peter said as they both sat on the couch.

"Yeah so did I, you want to go to the mall or something?"

God he can be such a girl sometimes.

"You know to see what Lego we should build next," Ned laughed.

"Yeah sure, I'm so bored that'd be great. Let me just get dressed," Peter said standing and staring to walk to his room before he collapsed.

"Peter you alright?" Ned asked rushing over to him before realising he'd passed out. "Oh shit what did I do? What do I do?" He phoned an ambulance and they were on their way to the hospital.

Ned had to wait in the waiting room he didn't phone his parents he didn't want to worry then in case it turned out to be nothing. Peter's doctor came out the room telling him he was awake and that he was asking for him.

"Hey Pete. You alright?" Ned sat down in the seat next Peter and looked at his wrists that were bandaged up.

"It's nothing, I stood up to fast that's all. I would've been fine."

Peter didn't want to be there and definitely didn't want May to know, he didn't want Ned's parents to know either.

"Don't phone your parents they'll just phone May and her trip will be ruined because if me."

"You should've spoke to me. You said you would," Ned knew that Peter always cared about everyone else other than himself that's why he could see that coming.
