Broken But Not Alone

Chapter 21

Peter woke up to Ned snoring and took a picture before leaving him to wake up while he had a shower. He woke up in a good mood for the first time in long time, he had forgotten that he cut last night, it stung when he first got in the shower but he didn't care.

He got dressed in the bathroom incase Ned saw, when he got back out he was still asleep.

"Ned," Peter whispered, "Ned!" Peter said louder.

"What the fuck," Ned said after yawning and stretching.

"You alright," Peter said laughing.

"It's not funny," Ned said crossing his arms.

"Oh I'm sorry," Peter still laughing.

"What time is it?"

"It is...oh shit it's 7:48," Peter said checking his phone.

"Oh shit, I've gotta get ready I'm gonna be late."

"Yeah so am I. See you in school."

Peter finished the math test before everyone else so he got to leave early for lunch, he went to the library and started reading. 10 minutes later Ned and Mj sat at his table, "hey loser," Mj said smiling at him.

"Hey guys," he said with no emotion not looking up from his book.

"We're getting the results back tomorrow by the way she told us when we all left," Ned said to Peter.

"Yeah, alright." Peter kept reading, Ned and Mj got out their lunch and started eating.

"You not eating?" Mj asked

"Ate already," Peter lied still not looking away from his book.

"What's going on with you Peter?" Mj asked taking the book off him.

"What the fuck, Mj!" Peter shouted.

"Mr Parker!" The librarian whisper shouted.

"Sorry," Peter said back to him. "But seriously Mj what the fuck, give me my book back."

"Not happening until you talk, for once."

"Maybe we should just leave it alone until he wants to talk," Ned said to Mj.

Once Ned has distracted Mj Peter took the took out her hand and picked up his bag and left without saying anything.

"See I told you something was up. If it was nothing he wouldn't have reacted like that," Mj said worried.

"Yeah I know something's up but that not the best way to get him to talk. Let him come to us I'm sure he will if he needs to. He has before."

Peter left school and went into an alley, made sure no one was around and changed into his spidey suit, pulled the straps on his bag tight and started swinging from building to building.

After a while he got bored and sat on the top of a building his phone started ringing he took it out, it was Tony. He looked at the time he should be in English just now although there were only 20 minutes left.

He just let it ring out and got back to the alley from before. He made sure no one was around and changed back into his normal clothes.
