"What kind of accident?" Tony asked starting to panic, for Peter.
"Car crash, I found her phone and called an ambulance and looked at her emergency contacts."
"Is she alive?" Tony asked still panicking.
"I couldn't find a heartbeat. I'm sorry."
"Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit...." Natasha walked into the room looking confused.
"Dude you okay?"
"No! I'm not fucking okay!" He snapped thinking about how he's going to tell Peter, a kid who already wants to die, that his last living relative died.
"Look I think the police will probably talk to you, bu...." he got cut off.
"Did he just hang up?" Tony asked taking the phone away from his ear.
"What happened?" Natasha asked handing him coffee.
"May, Peter aunt. She died," Tony said as Nat sat down next to him. "What the hell am I meant to do? How am I going to tell him?"
"We can do it together."
"Do what together?" Peter asked as he walked round the corner without them noticing.
"Oh shit," Tony whispered to himself hoping no one heard.
"What? What's going on?" Peter heard what he said thanks to his spidey senses.
They told him, Peter heard everything they said but kept zoning out before he ran to his room, locked the door, slid down the wall onto the floor and started crying.
Tony was about to follow him.
"Don't, just give him time," Nat said as Tony took Peter's note to May out his pocket.
"He wrote this to May, before he...before you know...before it happened," Tony said looking at it in his hands, "should I read it? Is that wrong?"
"Go for it, maybe it'll help you," Natasha said as he opened it.
Reading it tears started to form in his eyes that was the first time Natasha had ever seen him like this.
"What's it say?"
"May, I'm so sorry. By now you probably already know what's happened. You have to believe that this is not your fault. This is no ones fault. It was 100% my choice. Please don't be sad, I'm happy now. I love you so much and I'm so sorry. Peter," Tony said as he started crying more she got up and hugged him.

Peter had stopped crying and was just staring at the blank wall in front of him feeling completely numb. He didn't feel anything, he desperately wanted to.
That's when he realised that nothing ever really gets better and nothing really ever would. All he had left was May, the only family he had left, the only person he ever really cared about was gone and he wasn't, he should be.
But he couldn't do it, he couldn't kill himself not yet anyway, but he knew that'd be how he died.
He stared at his arms, all the red healing cuts and all the scars and he desperately wanted to make more. He remembered what he said to Dr Banner and Mr Stark, he had to talk to them instead but he didn't want to talk to anyone.
So he got changed into his spidey suit, put his bag on his back, opened his window and jumped out. He started swinging from building to building until he ended up at his apartment.
Though he couldn't bring himself to go inside so he just sat on the roof.

He was there for nearly an hour before he was brought back to reality by Ned. "Hey, spidey," he was on the roof behind him.
