Leaving

„You alright?“

Slowly my mind started to focus again and I could think a little more clear, I couldn't believe that my nerves were broken that easily. I looked around and saw everyone working to break down the Wall and even Yona, I stood up, my legs and Hands still shaking a little.

„everyone is digging and trying to break through the Wall“

„alright, let's hurry up so we can get out of this damn Cave“

I took my Claw cloves and started to dig in too, I had enough of this damn place and I just wanted to get out of here. Since the day I became the Watchdog of Princess Yona I started to enjoy myself a little more, I never wanted to admit it but it was true. I finally could live in peace again and I don't ever want to see someone precious to me suffer or die again, this whole journey showed me so many painful memories I thought I had closed away in the back of my mind. I think I can't take this anymore, I don't want to suffer anymore. Suddenly the Wall broke down and the light form the outside was shining too bright for my eyes and was blinding, as I could see again I saw that Hak was hugging Yona. He must be scared to lose her, I could feel his relive and his fast heartbeat. As we were standing outside I stayed a little away from the others, I watched them and listened as they were discussing what to do next.

„i want to convince the blue Dragon to come with us“

Yona walked up to him and hold her hand out in front of him,

„I will ask one more time, would you please join us. Don't worry I'm not scared about your eyes turning me to stone, otherwise your little friend wouldn't be so lively. Look how attracted he is to you, that alone proves what a good person you are“

I watched as he hasitaited but at the end he took her hand and joined her, we said goodbye to the Villagers and and started our journey again. At a crossroad to I stopped, the others noticed it and turned around and looked at me.

„why are you stopping, is something wrong?“

Yona asked

„Im leaving“

Everyone was shocked, but I couldn't back down now.

„What are you talking about? Your leaving? You can't leave, you promised to stay by my side and protect me“

„No I promised your mother to watch over you, but your not that little helpless girl anymore. Your a beautiful and strong young woman and your not alone, you have Hak, and two of four Dragons with you and a beautiful boy genius that knows much about healing and cooking. I'm not worried about you, I know that you will make your way and succeed with your goal.“

I could see Yona's eyes well up with tears

„Why are you saying this? Why do you want to leave?“

„Im really sorry that I can't stay by your side, but I have my own reasons. Please don't make this harder then it already is“

„if it's so hard on you then don't leave“

„I have to“

I hands clenched into fists and started to trample slightly, just as Yona wanted to run up to me and say something she was stopped by Hak. I know that he was watching me closely this whole time, he placed a Hand on her shoulder and she looked up to him. He was shaking his head, and looked at my eyes as he was talking to Yona.

„everyone has his own reasons, you should understand this better then anyone“

I nod at him and he nod back, Yona let her head hang low and I saw some tears falling from her eyes.

„i hope you will find what you are looking for, and I hope that we will see each other again“

Without thinking I walked up to her and kneeled down on one knee, I placed my head down and my right hand to my heart.

„Thank you for understanding, I promise that we will meet again.“

I stood up and looked at Hak

„take care of her“

He only nod again and as I wanted to walk off I was stopped by Yoon who was standing in front of me. We didn't said a word, he just looked at me, his eyes pleading for me to stay. I placed on hand on his head and before someone could say a word I jumped down a little cliff and made my way down the mountains into the forest below. I could feel my heart pulling me back and saying I should go back, but I couldn't. I run for a long time until the sun was going down and I couldn't feel the Aura of Yona or one of the other anymore, the moment I couldn't feel them I felt something like a string ripped off my heart. I felt a lot more light around the heart but even through I also felt my emotions fainting, 'so this is it, they really were growing on me I guess. But I think this is for the better, of I'm alone my feelings would only be in the way anyway' in this forest was nothing to hide so I couldn't stay here for long. I'm alone and a Neko-jin, if a human would find me I would be prey for them. If I wanted to sleep I would need a place where I could hide, I didn't even had a coat or a cape to hide my ears and tail. So I was saver if I just walked and not stopped for long, as I walked in the dark I found a group of fire tribe Soldiers. It was risky but they were sleeping soundly and had enough food and cloth, I sneaked up on them and steal a cape and some meat that was sticking on a stick and hanging over the fireplace. But just I was almost gone I could hear something move behind me, I turned around and was suddenly surrounded by a bunch of soldiers 'damn it' they pulled out the strings from their Bows and pointed the arrows at me, so I wasn't able to move at all. I knew that I was faster and stronger but there was to many off them, I cursed myself inside my head for this stupid idea to steal form the fire tribe. I needed to escape quick I wouldn't stand a chance against all of them, the only chance to fight them all would be with my special ability. But I wasn't sure if I would be able to control myself after so long, since the death of Hiryuu I never had to use this. This ability needs a lot of physical energy and I don't know if it will work, I never used it since then and I never saw the need to train this again. But I felt the slow movements from the soldiers they would attack any second now, I don't had a choice. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, I summand all my energy inside and the moment I heared one of the soldiers scream

„ATTACK!“

I draw my sword and circled around, a dark purple shadow was surrounding the blade and forming a blade himself, everyone hit by the blade was dead in an instant. After a short while every Soldier was dead but also my energy was almost completely drained, but I couldn't stay there and rest. If one Troup was there its very likely that there are more, I needed to get away fast.
