The Port of Awa

At one point I lost track of time, I never slept longer then a few minutes or maybe an hour. I only eat some herbs and slowly my body was screaming to give up, my energy didn't have time to recover probably and I could feel that my body was heating up. I needed to find some place safe to rest and get my energy back, and I needed something to eat and drink. But unfortunately I hadn't any money, maybe I could find a town and earn some money there. As I walked on I could hear some voices in the distance, I automatically walked a little faster and soon saw a town in front of me. The smell of the ocean and fish hit my nose immediately, I could hear my stomach growl. At the pier I saw some people loading off bags of fish from a boat, I walked to them and tapped one of them on the shoulder.

„What is it?“

He turned around and as he saw me hes eyes grow wide, I was wearing the black cape with a hood but even through he looked surprised.

„What can I do for such a lovely lady?“

„thank for the flattery but I just wanted to ask if you can offer me a job, I need some money.“

„Haha, I'm sorry but this isn't a job for a lady, this is hard work“

„Let me prove that I am worth your time and money, if I can prove to you that I'm able to work then you pay me full. If not then I will go“

„okay let's see what you've got“

He told me that I should grab the bag of fish and bring them over to a horse cart, as Soon as he finished with his explanation I grabbed one of the bags and throw one over my shoulder and carried it to the Cart. I did this with all the bag and was watched by the Men and his crew with wide eyes and open mouth, as I was finished I felt a little dizzy but I received three gold coins from the Men.

„if you want to earn more money we would be pleased to have you with us, your a good worker and we could really need your strength.“

„thanks, I will think about it“

I just wanted to say goodbye but then I heared a scream and turned around, I saw that one if the Crew was kicked in the ground.

„oh no, not again“

The Men said and I looked at him

„What so you mean not again, why isn't anyone helping this Men. Isn't he one of your Crew?“

„Yes he is, but the Men kicking him his Yang Kum-Ji, he is the ruler of Awa. He is a strict and Merciless Person, if something isn't to his liking he is very brutal. If we would go to help him . . . This would be suicidal“

I looked back at the Crew member and to this Men called Yang Kum-Ji, I couldn't watch this any longer. I knew that I was weak because of my lost energy but I couldn't watch this poor men any longer, I run up to him and pushed Yang Kum-Ji to the side and placed myself in front of this Men.

„Stop, that's enough“

„What are you doing, run away quick, you will get yourself killed“

„how dare you little. . . What do you think your doing, who are you little“

„My name is not important, what important is why your beaten this poor Men?“

„I ordered one hundred bags of fish but I only received ninety-nine, this is the punishment for being so unreliable“

„That the reason your almost kicking him dead? Are you nuts, they brought you ninety-nine bags of fish, isn't this enough for now?“

„i don't now who you are and I don't care, but if you think you will get out of this whiteout consequences then your wrong“

„ha, bring it on. I'm not afraid of  scumbags like you“

„Men! Show her what the Consequences are if she is interfering with the great Yang Kum-Ji “

Five guys build like a tree run up to me with swords and tried to attack me, but I was able to dodge the attacks easily.

„run! I will handle this “

I yelled at the Men that was still on the ground behind me, I was able to put everyone out of action with targeted punches, just Yang Kum-Ji was left, but as I searched for him he was gone. I didn't realized that he was sneaking up on me from behind until he grabbed my hood and my hair and
kicked me in the hollow of the knee. I got down on my knees immediately, I could hear him laugh and then I could hear his voice next to my ear.

„your a very feisty one aren't you? But you shouldn't overestimated yourself “

I could hear a his sword draw but As I wanted to fight back I felt my body give up

„This isn't a way to treat a Lady, why don't you let her go and we end this farce here and now“

I could here a voice and an unmistakable Aura 'this can't be' his voice was warm and just a little raspy,  Kum-Ji let go of me and I fell to the ground. He laughed and kicked me into the stomach, I coughed up blood and only earned a new laugher from Kum-Ji.

„this isn't over your weak little bitch“

I could feel the cold metal from his sword at my throat and looked at him challenging, but suddenly something hit Kum-Ji's Hand that was holding the Sword was hit by something sharp. He let go of his sword and I saw his  hand bleeding a little. Kum-Ji frowned and cursed under his breath

„you again. . .“

Kum-Ji walked away with his now awake again Men, I coughed up blood again and my vision got blurrier.

I could hear voices but I couldn't really make them out

„She saved my life. . . She didn't even know me but she saved me anyway“

„Who is she?“

„We don't know, we never saw her before. She suddenly showed up here and asked for a job“

„Dont worry, I will take care of her.“
