first date in forever

The night was short and was not much sleep, i couldn't calm down at all and only rolled from one side to the other. I just couldn't forgot the words from this little girl, she asked specifically if I'm also a real Cat so I don't think she was lying. But I can't feel the aura of anyone like my race here and I couldn't feel anyone since century ago, my brother was the last on I felt and he can't be still alive I was with him as he died. I took a long shower before I changed and went down for breakfast, everyone was waiting for me in the dining room and smiled at me as I set down next to Hak and Yoon.

„Mornin' got enough sleep“

Before I could answer a big yawn escape me, quickly I Covered my mouth with my hand.

„Call me Crazy but I think she didn't“

Yoon said with a mix of amusement and concern before he stood up,

„Yoon and Yona told us what happened yesterday at the Shop with that little girl, do you think she could be right?“

Ki-ja asked carefully and I looked at my hands that were folded in the table.

„No she wasn't“

Yoon came back and placed at plate with some scrambled eggs and bacon in front of me, I forced a tiny smile and nod at him in thanks.

„But maybe . . .“

„She wasn't right! My race is dead since millennia, they were hunted down by humans since no one was left until my brother and I. And at the end they got him too, I'm the last one.“

I accidentally rised my voice and everyone looked at me surprised, I pushed the plate away from me and stood up. Without saying anything I left the Dining Room and went back up to my room, I never wanted to rise my voice like this but I couldn't help it. I know that they only want to help but false hope made me suffer long enough, I didn't wanted to go through this again. A knock on my door made me look up and slowly the door opened, Jea-Ha was leaning in the Doorframe and smiled at me.

„I think you could use something to cheer you up a bit, maybe a date with the most handsome Monster in the world would be perfect for that“

„Oh but I can't go on a date with myself, know that's a Problem.“

Jea-Ha placed a hand on his heart and slumped against the Doorframe as if I had stabbed him right into his heart.

„So were back to you being mean to me, your so Cruel to me“

I couldn't help but grin and he seemed to be a little proud of himself

„But your right, your the most beautiful monster I know, and you can't go on a date with yourself. So what about a date with the most Handsome Dragon in the world? . . . And please don't say it's not me, it would break my heart“

Now I couldn't help but laugh a bit, I stood up and walked past with

„Okay I will not say it. . . But I will go on a date with you anyway“

It didn't take Jea-Ha long to catch up to me, he walked next to me as we made our way into town.

„So you think I'm not the most Handsome Dragon of us?“

„Maybe, Maybe not. I'm not telling“

„your so cruel“

I swallowed my laugh, I didn't want to give him the satisfaction just yet. I knew that he was easily able to make me laugh, but didn't wanted to let him win so easy. I wanted to let him struggle a little bit longer, I kind of enjoyed it to see him try so hard.

„So were do you want to begin my Lady?“

„Oh well, why don't you surprised me.“

Jea-Ha looked a little surprised but then he smiled at if a plan was built in his mind.

„your wish is my command, why don't we start with some Breakfast because you didn't eat at the Inn?“

I wanted to complain but I couldn't deny that I really was hungry, so I nod at him.

„Alright, then lead the way“

„would you give me the honor my lady“

He held out his arm for me, and I hasitaited before I sign and hooked my arm with his and let him escort me to a really cute little Cafe.  We ordered some Tea and bread and sit down on a small table in the sun, I took a sip from my tea and looked around.

„So before I accidentally make this date worse from the beginning, what should I avoid talking about?“

„Well. . .“

I thought about it and I it was many things I didn't like to talk about, actually it was my whole past but I didn't want to make things awkward.

„you could try asking me, and if I want to answer I will and if I don't I will pass on“

„fair enough“

Jea-Ha thought for a while until he broke the silence

„You visit this town before right?“

„yes I was here a long time ago“

„did it chance much?“

„no not really, it is a little more modern but it looks almost the same“

„was it on a journey with the first Dragons?“

„No it was with Hiryuu alone. . .“

„How were they, the first Dragons I mean?“

„Oh they were very different from you four, but in some points I can see them in you four. I don't know if it's because you share the same blood or something else, but sometimes it feel like are still here.“

„Tell me about them“

I started how we meet and told him about the different characters and the difference between them and the four now, Jea-Ha listened to everything I said and he seemed sincerely interested in what I said. After the breakfast we started to walk through the town without a real destination, Jea-Ha told a lot of his story's before I joined the Awa Pirates and at some point I really couldn't help but laugh.

„looks like I won, so I still got a chance to be a part of your new life?“

I blushed and looked away from him and into the clear blue sky

„the day isn't over yet, let's see where it leads us“

I peaked over to him and saw him smile so bright

„sounds good to me“
