making a Decision

As we came to the river we were both shocked, the river was dried out. Yona and Hak noticed us and came running to us, Yona hugged Mondock and he squeezed her in his arms.

„Oh thanks god, I'm so sorry. I heared that your father was murdered and that you and Hak fleet, I couldn't believe what they were saying."

He squeezed her even more, Yona became red in the face I assumed because she couldn't breathe and I was right.

„Mondock. . .I can't breathe "

He let her go immediately and they talked a little more, I went to the lake and looked up and down. Maybe I could smell or hear something the others couldn't. Suddenly I heared someone and looked up the river, it was the blonde boy Han-dea. His friend and the little Tea-Yoon saw him too and was faster to go to Hak. I watched him come back and soon saw that he was hurt, I jumped in the river bank and helped him on the side and sit down.

„Hey Kid, are you okay."

In this moment Hak and the others came although to us.

„Oh you poor boy, you've been injured "

Mondock was the first to ask, and then Hak

„What happened?"

„Oh well you know me, always doing stupid stuff. I went up the river to investigate and found some fire clan guys damming up the river, they were all well armed but I picked a fight anyway. Of course I got beaten up and tossed aside . . ."

As the Village People heared that, they all were discussing about this in a mess Mondock explained that the fire clan was making a point that they wanted his approval to make Soo-Woon the next king, I immediately looked to Yona how was hugging herself in fear. She was still not over all of this, I could feel her fear strongly and went to her and put my Arms around her. She excepted my embrace Glady and I could feel her relax a little bit, this was all his fault. We all went into the house and Yona said she would be in her room, she wanted to be alone for a while. I was wandering in the hallway with Hak and Mondock to talk about the situation as I suddenly heared a noise like someone or something fell to the ground. I could feel something too, and it was coming from Yona's room.

„Something happened, we need to hurry "

Both followed me immediately, as we arrived in her room we saw the little Tea-Yoon on the floor and heavily breathing.

„What Happened here?"

„He suddenly Collapsed "

Yona said and Mondock kneeled down at her side to look at the little boy.

„Its an attack, he needs his medicine immediately "

„Grandpa the travler who should have brought the medicine hasn't arrived yet "

Just as Tea-Woo wanted to run to look for the supplies another guy came in

„we have a problem the merchant how was supposed to deliver the supplies were ambushed on the road and are badly injured."

We all were shocked

„Oh no, that was our last reliable source of water"

„and Tea-Yoon's medicine, what do we do now?"

Suddenly Han-Dea appeared next to Yona and patted her on the head, before standing up and looking hat Hak.

„the Quickest way is that I ride to the next village and take the medicine from the doctor personally, you all know that I'm the quickest rider here. Please General, let me save the day."

Hak grinned and approved of the idea, Tea-Woo shocked his head and sight

„oh great, now he thinks he is a tough guy"

I couldn't help but smile, but soon the smile was gone as I felt the heartbeat from the little one quicken and feel his pain. He doesn't have a chance, he needs his medicine as soon as possible. If not then he . . . I didn't dare to think about this, but I couldn't bare to feel his pain any longer. I walked out of the house and jumped on a nearly tree, I watched Han-dea ride away and hoped that he would make it. This little guy deserves better then to die like this, he is such a sweet little guy. My stomach was stinging at this thought, I always wanted to have children one day. I couldn't bare the thought of a child dieing because of such a little escapade. I watched as the night came over us and started to wander through the halls again, I looked after Tea-Yoon for a little to make sure that was a little better, and I looked after Yona, she too was asleep. As I wanted to go out again I heared a little bit of a conversation between Hak and Mondock, it wasn't much because I didn't wanted to ears drop at them. I felt the mood was heavy in there and I had enough of this heavy feeling.

„I will give back my title as General to you Grandpa. . . I have a favor to ask. . . "

„I don't take favors from my Grandson. . ."

„then I Command. . . It's the last order from your General"

So he was giving back his title, he had planned something. But he wasn't alone, I had a plan too, i didn't want to see anyone hurt or die again. I have lived long enough now, I will save them, even if it costs me my life. I sneaked in the laundry storage and "stole" a Bag, the next stop was the Kitchen where I got some bread and a bit dried meat. I put everything in the Bag and tied the Bag close, i returned to my room and put my Katana back on my Back and my Claw cloves on my belt. I went back outside and jumped on the tree 'at Dawn I will be gone, I will bring what Soo-Woon started to an end."
