"Miss Feng, Dr. Song is here to see you," the nurse informed Meiza who had just finished her breakfast. Lei had left that same night when she told him she loved him and Jing had hurried here to look after her.It was her last day in the hospital and Meiza couldn't wait to get back home.
A beautiful, slender lady with a sleek, black bob stepped into the room, giving Meiza a warm smile.
"Miss Feng, it's a pleasure to meet you. How are you feeling?" She asked politely, placing herself on a chair beside Meiza's bed.
Meiza fidgeted with her fingers a bit. She wasn't quite comfortable talking to people she didn't know.
"I'm good," she answered shyly. "You can call me Meiza."
"Well then, Meiza. What are your hobbies?" Dr. Song questioned and Meiza frowned. "I prefer to get to know my patients before actually starting to advise them."
Meiza nodded and started answering each of Dr. Song's questions. She became a little more comfortable with each question and was happy for a while.
"Now Meiza, tell me about this boy, Connor Johnston," she asked and Meiza's happiness flew out the window.
"Well... uh... he was? Or is my boyfriend? I don't know. I haven't spoken to him since..." Meiza paused.
"Since the incident?" Dr. Song filled in and Meiza nodded. "Has this ever happened before?"
Meiza sighed. She didn't want to talk about it because she didn't know the details herself. She didn't want to know what could have possibly happened to her before.
She wanted to tell Dr. Song and ask her for help but instead she closed herself off yet again.
"No," Meiza answered. Dr. Song pursued her lips and clasped her hands together.
"Meiza, I'll ask again. Has this ever happened before?"
Meiza turned her head and stared straight into the therapist's eyes. "No. May I please be left alone? I'm not feeling too well."
Dr. Song squinted her eyes before standing up. She bowed slightly and smiled.
"It was a pleasure to meet you, Meiza. A few words before I leave," she began. "Closing off only breaks you. If you do not wish to talk to me, talk to someone you know. You will never be free otherwise."
Meiza was stunned by the doctor's words who exited the room in a flash.
A few moments later, Jing stepped into the room and informed Meiza that they'll be leaving in an hour.
Meiza smiled and closed her eyes, relieved that she could get away from this awful place.

Meizou's house was in utter chaos. For the past two days, everyone had been helping out with Meiza's birthday party: decorating the house, organising the food etc.
Ju had been staying with Meizou, which had been the reason why Meizou was over the moon for the past two days. Funny how no one suspected them sleeping around, for now.
Jing had called saying that Meiza would be going back to her house and that she would bring Meiza at the allocated time.
Meiza was currently with Jing, driving back home. Lei had called Jing to stay with her because he was 'busy'.
"What happened to Lei again?" Meiza asked Jing.
"He said he was busy and he couldn't stay with you. Don't worry I'm sure he's fine," Jing replied simply.
