Chapter 13

"Is everyone in?"

Meizou's car was jam packed with the whole gang, uncomfortably waiting to get to the cafe.

Fang Ju had nicely made herself comfortable in the front next to Meizou while Meiza was squished with the rest of the boys in the back.

"Meiza you good?" Ju asked from the front. "If there's no space, you can sit on someone's lap."

Ju smirked at Meiza through the mirror and Meiza glared back at her.

"I think I'll survive," Meiza shot back. She couldn't breathe when Ah Si got in, pushing her against Lei.

"Tianshi, are you sure you have enough space?" Lei questioned the girl squirming in her seat.

"Meiza, do you mind sitting on Lei's lap? We really don't have space!" Ah Si complained and Meiza sighed.

She moved herself onto his lap, pressing her back against the window.

"Better?" Lei asked her and she smiled and nodded.
Meiza silently cursed Ju for smirking and wiggling her eyebrows at Meiza.

The journey was too long. Some roads had been blocked off so Meizou had to take alternative routes
which was congested with traffic.

"We're almost there guys," Meizou said. Ximen was knocked out and Ah Si was texting Shancai. Meiza tried her best to turn away from Lei and focus on the drive. It was hard for her to be close to him.

Suddenly, the car jumped as it hit a speed bump and Meiza, who was leaning far away from Lei, bounced along with the car, her face hitting his neck.

"Seriously Meizou?" Ah Si complained, rubbing his forehead while Ximen didn't move a muscle.

"Are you alright, Tianshi?" Lei whispered and Meiza nodded shyly. She cursed herself for turning into goo again as he smiled at her. That smile. It always got her.

Both individuals had fallen back into the spell of love, as they continued to smile at each other, their cheeks reddening by the second.

Meiza didn't even realise what they were doing until Ju yelled that they had arrived and Meiza was snapped out of the trance.

Before Lei could say a word, Meiza opened the door and went straight inside, subtly telling Ju to meet her in the bathroom.

Meiza burst into the bathroom of the cafe, quickly scanning the room to see if she was alone. Yes!
She caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and touched her red cheeks.

"Screw you, hormones!" She yelled at her reflection and dabbed her face with a little cold water in an attempt to reduce the reddening.

"Meiza, are you okay?" The door swung open and Ju strutted in, her eyebrows knitted and arms folded.

"Ju, if you already had a boyfriend right now but you felt something for Meizou, what would you do?" Meiza asked hypothetically.

Ju knew what Meiza was talking about but she kept it to herself for now.

"I don't know. I guess I would spend more time with my boyfriend and see if what's going there is really worth it, let alone real," she answered wisely and Meiza nodded.

"Meiza, you like Lei don't you?" Ju questioned and Meiza looked down. "It's nothing to be ashamed of!"

"But it is!" Meiza looked back up, tears springing in her eyes. "I have someone who is so good to me and the fact that I have been sneaking around and kissing someone else behind his back is not right! And it doesn't even feel wrong at times! That's why I feel so guilty! I don't want to lose both of them either! I don't know what to do! I just don't know!"
