"Are you really sure about this?" Lei asked Meiza again when they arrived at her father's house. Meiza sighed and got out of the car with Lei following her.

"I am sure," Meiza repeated for the tenth time today. He helped her take out her bags and went to the front door. It opened immediately.

"Oh Miss Fang! You're here. Please leave the bags," the older man in a suit said. He called someone over and they carried the bags away.

"Miss Fang, I will lead you to your room," he said. Meiza shifted uncomfortably because she didn't like the fact that he called her 'Miss Fang'. She wanted to be called by her new name. She glanced at Lei who
still looked upset.

"Excuse me...?"

"Kim Liu," the man said. "I'm half Korean."

"Oh. That's interesting... so Mr Liu... I would really appreciate it if you would call me by my married name," Meiza explained with a smile on her face. Mr Liu stopped walking and turned to face Meiza and Lei.

"Oh! My apologies... I didn't know you two were... married," Mr Liu stared at Lei and squinted at Meiza. Meiza felt uncomfortable again. He cleared his throat and turned around. "What an unexpected couple."

Meiza tensed but Lei grabbed her hand and started walking, dragging her along. She was still sensitive about how people reacted to their relationship. Almost everyone was shocked about it.

"Your room Mrs Huaze," Mr Liu smiled, opening the door to her room. Meiza's eyes bulged. This room was ten times bigger than her one at the Feng's. It was beautifully decorated and had enough space to fit at least five football teams.

"Wow," Meiza said. She unknowingly let go of Lei's hand as she gawked at the room. A small part of her was ecstatic to be able to have this room all to herself but when she turned around to look at her husband, she felt extremely guilty and sad.

"I'll leave," Lei smiled at her before turning around and walking out. Meiza sighed and decided to start unpacking. She had quite a lot of clothes so it took some time for her to arrange her wardrobe neatly and organise her shoes.

By the time she was done, it was almost twelve. Mr Liu walked in to remind her it was lunchtime and that Gao had invited her to dine with him in his personal dining room at the company.

Meiza headed there afterwards, shyly walking in with one of the assistants and keeping her head down. She heard many whispers along the way - some were about her being Gao's daughter and others were about her appearance.

"Mr Fang," the assistant knocked on the door. He opened it and waited for Meiza to enter. She took a deep breath and stepped inside the room which had a beautiful view of Shanghai.

"Ji- Meiza! I'm so glad you could make it," Gao exclaimed when she walked in. Meiza instinctively looked around for Ju. "Ju will not be joining us if that's okay."

"Oh. Sure," Meiza replied and sat beside him where Ju usually sat. She fiddled with her fingers underneath the table.

"So! How do you like your new room?" Gao asked her whilst serving himself.

"It's... very spacious," Meiza replied, chuckling a little at the end. She was about to serve when Gao stared down at her mid-serving. "Sorry."

"That's alright. I'm afraid I have a few simple rules that need to be obeyed since you are my daughter," Gao explained. Meiza pressed her lips into a thin line, nodding her head. She didn't really make much about his 'rules' when Ju was around.

"Yes of course. Please do tell," Meiza said as politely as she could. She waited for him to take the first bite and then began serving herself. She ate quietly, waiting for him to answer her.
