I was next to her so I caught her quickly. When I placed her down he began to brush her hair out of her face.
I slapped his hand away, "Who do you think you are?"
Before he could answer another soldier came in, "Sir, the man's coming round."
"Amy?" You could hear the worry in his voice, "Where's Amy?"
"She's fine, Doctor. Just unconscious." I called out as he entered the room and looked at me. He then went to Amy and nudged the first soldier out of the way.
He soniced her, "Okay. Yes, she's sedated, that's all. Half an hour, she'll be fine. Okay, Romans." He patted #2 on the shoulder, "Good. I was just wishing for Romans. Good old River. How many?"
"Fifty men up top, volunteers." #1 then pointed to the robot, "What about that thing?"
"Fifty? You're not exactly a legion." He was disappointed.
"Your friend was very persuasive, but it's a tough sell." Does that mean Melody is back? I better find her, she is my ride home after all.
"Yes, I know that, Rory." The Doctor knew #1, "I'm not exactly one to miss the obvious. But we need everything we can get. Okay, Cyberweapons. This is basically a sentry box, so headless wonder here was a sentry. Probably got himself duffed up by the locals. Never underestimate a Celt."
"Doctor?" Roman nearly shouted.
"Hush, Rory. Thinking." He looked off to the distance, like he normally did while in thought, "Why leave a Cyberman on guard, unless it's a Cyberthing in the box. But why would they lock up one of their own? Okay, no, not a Cyberthing, but what? What?" He begins to walk towards Roman, "No, I'm missing something obvious, Rory. Something big. Something right slap in front of me. I can feel it." By now he was staring him dead in the eyes.
Roman nodded, "Yeah, I think you probably are."
"I'll get it in a minute." I followed him as he left.
"Who's Rory?" At my question he dropped the weapons and turned back to the room.
When he gets in he pokes Roman, "Hello again."
All Roman can do is nod, "Hello."
I could feel the awkward tension so I backed away. When I was out of the room I headed up to the ground floor and looked for Melody. She isn't here.
I am surrounded by worried Romans, all of them look at me strangely when I realized, They have probably never seen someone with purple skin and teal hair. Spaceships appear in the sky, soldiers look even more worried.
I see Roman pushing his way through the troops, "Have we got a plan?" He looks at me when he realized I spoke.
"Your Purple." He points out.
"Yes, and there are millions of spaceships in the sky." He nods, "So, Do you know if we have a plan?"
He nods yes but it slowly turns to a no, "I don't know. I don't think he ever really has one."
A shrill noise causes me to wince, "Sorry, sorry, dropped it. Hello, Stonehenge! Who takes the Pandorica, takes the universe. But bad news, everyone," I turn see the Doctor standing on the stone, "Because guess who? Ha! Listen, you lot, you're all whizzing about. It's really very distracting. Could you all just stay still a minute because I am talking!"
The ships halt, "The question of the hour is, who's got the Pandorica? Answer, I do. Next question. Who's coming to take it from me?" He pauses, as if to give them time to answer, "Come on! Look at me. No plan, no back up, no weapons worth a damn. Oh, and something else. I don't have anything to lose! So, if you're sitting up there in your silly little spaceship, with all your silly little guns, and you've got any plans on taking the Pandorica tonight, just remember who's standing in your way. Remember every black day I ever stopped you, and then, and then, do the smart thing. Let somebody else try first."
The ships retreat and the Doctor jumps down, "That'll keep them squabbling for half an hour." He looked around, "Romans." Wait, So the one standing next to me is Rory? I thought his name was Roman, I feel stupid now.
The Doctor then rushed down the stairs with Rory and I tailing behind him.
"They're still out there. What do we do now?" Rory and I had a similar thought process.
"If I can stop whatever's in this box getting out, then they'll go home." He looked past Rory and looked a little worried. "Rory, I'm sorry. You're going to have to be very brave now."
Amy walks straight to the Doctor, "Oh, my head."
The atmosphere seems tense, and I feel as if I am not needed so I leave and head up stairs again.
I walk over to one of the Romans, "Hello."
His eyes bulge, "It's a talking rainbow." This brings up another memory and off I go.
"Mom, is it true that the new planet has silver trees, three suns and the sky is a rainbow?" Pandora's eyes are filled with wonder.
I smile at her, "Yes, this new planet has 3 golden stars to warm it and a sky of multiple colors. The trees are silver and the fruits are always in season." I try to cheer her up. This was the Second time I had had to leave my home planet, this was only her first.
"What is this planet called?" She is such an inquisitive child.
"Asgard."
"Hey, what's wrong?" The soldier seemed uncomfortable at my tears.
I sniffle, "My life is flashing before my eyes. Normally that means it is the end."
His face dropped, great, I practically told his we were all gonna die. "Don't worry though, I am sure it is just due to an injury."
He smiles, "Where are you from? I mean, I just saw ships in the sky, are you from up there?"
I nod, "You know, you are taking this very well."
He shrugged, "I am a soldier, if I don't adjust quickly, I may die."
My tone falls solemn, "If you don't take time to adjust, it may just end up worse."
A shrill sound pierces my eardrums. The soldier looks lost in thought, and slups over. I see Rory and Amber and decide to excuse myself. Before I can get too far, the Soldier grabs my wrist.
"I am afraid that I can't let you go." I look down to see his other hand drop to reveal a gun.
I pull at my wrist after elbowing him. I then run over to Rory and try to stop him, but it was too late.
Amber was gone.
I ran down the stairs and see the Doctor in the chair shouting at alien troops, "No! Please, listen to me! The Tardis is exploding right now and I'm the only one who can stop it! Listen to me!"
The Pandorica closes with the Doctor inside.
The Aliens turn to me, "Who are you?"
I smirk, "Ophelia, Last of the Fermandi." All of them look confused, "You just hurt all my friends and I can't find my ride. Just know, I will track down every. single. one of you. My people may not have been violent, but I must do what I can to survive." Now they raise their weapons at me, "In the name of The Doctor, Melody, Amy, Rory, and Pandora. I will end you. All of you!"
I feel a shutter in my soul and soon they all turn to stone.
In my rage I shove over many of the statues. They fall and shatter.
I pick up the remains and hit the other aliens, The Daleks. It chips away at them as I sob.
I always stick to my word.
