Melody was still there when I woke up feeling like a pile of cotton. I remembered bits and pieces of the day before, but nothing big.

This was nothing new though.

Melody was asleep, still playing with my hair, so I did my best to stay still. She didn't sleep much, and when she did, her sleep was haunted by nightmares. I stayed still and lied on her to keep myself warmer, the room cold as I turned my heat laps for my plants off at some point.

I grabbed my journal that was by the side table and flipped through it. There were new stories and adventures, ones of my heartbreaking as River had kissed the Doctor or even their wedding day that had caused my mind- and others too- to forget.

A guard slammed his hand on the cell, causing Melody to jolt awake, "You two are dismissed."

"What?"

He rolled his eyes, "Whatever happened to land you here changed. It's time for you lot to make room."

That was the thing I loved about Stormhold, it shifted with the time changes.

Melody merely smirked, "I was hoping it would happen soon."

"What happened?"

"Time rewrote itself."

"Then, why haven't I forgotten."

She shrugged, "You weren't there. It didn't rewrite your timeline, it simply scribbled out a simple path you could have taken."

"But, how did it change."

"The Doctor was erased from time. Then he died, then he didn't. Then he did, but it was a disguise on our wedding day that was fibbed for my mother and father. It was why they were there for wine last night. It just now caught up to us though."

I nodded, "Cool."

"Cool." She clapped her hands, "Now! According to the Doctor, in order for us to meet again, I need to become a archaeologist and you need to be an alien anthropologist."

"So, study alien behaviors? I can do that."

She shook her head, "We go to school for it. Now, off we go."

"What school are we going too?"

"Iris helped me get there when she helped me escape the Silence before they caught up to me. Maybe I can finish up there?"

* Massive Time jump, after schooling *

"Damn the Doctor."

"Lia, you've been spending far too much time with me if you are beginning to curse his name."

"Good thing too, seeing as how we are a married couple." Yes, you read that right.

I, Doctor Ophelia Wildes, was lucky enough to be Professor River Song's second spouse. We long since figured out that though she loves the Doctor, it is highly unlikely that they will be married most of the time they cross paths. There are times where my Melody Pond leaves for a couple days and comes back glowing with guilt. But, I understand. The man she doesn't get many moments with stole her heart long ago, and I will let them enjoy their moments.

Recently though, on their latest adventure, the Doctor gifted her a sonic screwdriver.

And my heart shattered.

A storm was brewing, one that one of us will not make it through.

I just pray it isn't her.

She is finally happy after the Silence was forgotten and her schooling completed. We both even get to work together with Felman Lux Corporation on this next job as we are both so well known and successful.

We were, in fact, about to get on the ship to go check out the library.

"Ladies and Gentleman," Mr. Strackmem Lux shouted as he stood above his team, "Seeing as you all signed the Weaver's," We didn't, "You all know your jobs and to keep hush hush about it. So, lets quickly get on with this, as to not mess anything else up."

We were there rather quickly thanks to teleporting/Ship equipment.

"I heard that the whole core of the planet is the index computer. Biggest hard drive ever. And up here, every book ever written. Whole continents of Jeffrey Archer, Bridget Jones, Monty Python's Big Red Book. Brand new editions, specially printed." I turned to Melody, "Isn't that amazing? All the humans literature, all the alien pieces, and it is constantly growing and changing and adding more books!"

Melody smiled at me, "Yes, Dr. Wildes, absolutely amazing. Now, we best catch up with the rest of the team."

Someone's in my library. No, no, please, that's not allowed. That's not allowed.

I shook my head to rid of the echoes, "Strange."

"What is?"

"I don't think we are alone." She goes to move, so I pull her aside, "Stay out of the shadows."

She looks around and nods, "Gonna tell me why?"

I shook my head, "I haven't trusted the shadows since you took me to find my diary, this time, I think that our shadows aren't just following us due to the light."

I lead her to the rest of the group, avoiding shadows, and we did a quick head count.

I hear a faint buzzing, No, stop it. No. No. I shake my head again, strange. That hasn't happened in years.

Others are coming. The library is breached. Others are coming.  Sorry, who else?

"Alright, nothing wrong here. Now, to the actual library."

"What do you mean?"

Mr. Lux rolled his eyes, "We had to check to make sure the Moon was properly working, plus it makes the jump easier."

I nodded and braced myself for another jump.

We landed outside the door for the main room, and River shot the door to open it.

I saw a young face that I hadn't had the pleasure to meet. River adjusts her helmet, "Hello, Sweetie." So, this is the Doctor.

"You lot can take off your helmets." My helmet had long since been off. Another thing about Fermandi, our bodies adjust to any atmosphere.

Time lords however, don't. If he could breathe, so could they.

"Get out." Rude, the usual, but rude.

The woman with him agreed, "Doctor."

"All of you. Turn around, get back in your rocket and fly away. Tell your grandchildren you came to the library and lived. They won't believe you. " I knew something was off! Him being here proves it!

We are in for a treat.
