Bang

After running from the Daleks, a stop to pick up officer Rory, and a trip to the roof, Melody was back with us.

We also learned that a Dalek was going to be responsible for yet another death.

"How can that Dalek even exist? It was erased from time and then it came back. How?"

You're the smart one.

"You said the light from the Pandorica-" Of course, when someone tries to help the Doctor, he shuts them up. It's quite annoying actually.

"It's not a light, it's a restoration field." He corrected, "But never mind, call it a light. That light brought Amy back, restored her, but how could it bring back a Dalek when the Daleks have never existed?"

"Okay, tell us." Amy knew how he worked.

"When the Tardis blew up, it caused a total event collapse. A time explosion. And that explosion blasted every atom in every moment of the universe. Except-"

He looked at Amy expectantly, "Except inside the Pandorica."

"The perfect prison." He was happy with her answer, "And inside it, perfectly preserved, a few billion atoms of the universe as it was. In theory, you could extrapolate the whole universe from a single one of them, like, like cloning a body from a single cell. And we've got the bumper family pack."

"No, no. Too fast. I'm not getting it." I nodded with Rory, completely lost.

"The box contains a memory of the universe, and the light transmits the memory, and that's how we're going to do it." The Doctor tried again.

"Relight the fire. Reboot the universe. Come on!" The Doctor was walking extremely fast.

"Doctor, you're being completely ridiculous. The Pandorica partially restored one Dalek. If it can't even reboot a single life form properly, how's it reboot the whole of reality?" Melody's voice lost it's playful tune due to stress.

The Doctor turned back around, "What if we give it a moment of infinite power? What if we can transmit the light from the Pandorica to every particle of space and time simultaneously?"

"Well, that would be lovely, dear, but we can't, because it's completely impossible." Since when did Melody have a problem with the impossible?

"Ah no, you see, it's not." The Doctor bopped her forehead, "It's almost completely impossible. One spark is all we need."

"For what?" Melody's hair bounced in her eagerness to know the plan.

"Big Bang Two! Now listen..." He was cut off as a Dalek shot him.

"Exterminate! Exterminate!"

Rory pulled Amy and I to safety, "Get back. River, get back now!"

"Exterminate!" Rory shoots at the Dalek and it powers down again.

"Doctor? Doctor, it's me, River. Can you hear me? What is it? What do you need?" Her voice is breaking with emotion. The Doctor then vanishes.

Melody jumps back in shock, "Where did he go? Damn it, he could be anywhere."

"He went downstairs," Amy was also grieving the loss of her friend, "twelve minutes ago."

"Show me!" Melody exclaimed.

"River, he died." No, he was mostly dead. There is a huge difference.

"Systems restoring. You will be exterminated." I ran to were the Doctor was previously and saw that Rory's jacket had been pushed aside.

"Called it." Now, where did he actually run off too?

I run to the room with the Pandorica and saw him half 'asleep' and plugged in.

"Doctor!" Amy shouted when they finally caught up

"Why did he tell us he was dead?" Rory questioned. Although, It seemed obvious to Amy.

"We were a diversion. As long as the Dalek was chasing us, he could work down here."

"Doctor, can you hear me? What were you doing?" As Melody hold his face the Tardis grows brighter, the explosion won't be contained for much longer.

"What's happening?" I look to Melody.

"Reality's collapsing. It's speeding up. Look at this room." We look around and everything was gone.

"Where'd everything go?"

"History's being erased. Time's running out." Melody was solemn, "Doctor, what were you doing? Tell us. Doctor!"

"Big Bang Two." The words were soft, broken.

"Of course, Big bang one was the original creation of the Universe." Where did this woman come from? "Oh please, Time is disintegrating, we don't have time for this. Literally."

Amy nodded, "Is Big Bang Two is the bang that brings us back? Is that what you mean?"

"Oh." Melody looked scared of the new person, I wanted to comfort her.

"What?"

"The- The Tardis is still burning. It's exploding at every point in history. If you threw the Pandorica into the explosion, right into the heart of the fire."

"Then what?" Rory was still in shock about the strangers appearance but nodded at Amy's question.

"Then let there be light. The light from the Pandorica would explode everywhere at once. Brilliant!"

"That would work? That would bring everything back?" It is so crazy, it just might.

"A restoration field powered by an exploding Tardis, happening at every moment in history. Oh, that's brilliant. It might even work." Melody looked at the Doctor's wiring, "He's wired the vortex manipulator to the rest of the box."

"Why?"

Melody looked at Amber, "So he can take it with him. He's going to fly the Pandorica into the heart of the explosion."

Amy, Rory and I walk away to give them room.

I leave the room and see all the decorations are gone. Everything, I feel as if the pain of my past is shrinking, yet growing all at once. When I come back in, the Pandorica is closed.

"Back! Get back!" Melody huddles us in a corner and I feel the draft of the Pandorica as it lifts off.

Melody gets a message on here communicator, "It's from the Doctor."

"What does it say?" Amy tries to read it, she can't.

"Geronimo."

I wake up in my cell the same morning. Melody was gone, guards surround me, almost as if I never left.

One of the other guards looked to me, "What happened?"

I looked to him bewildered, "I can't remember."

That was a lie.
