My phone buzzes from beside my head and wakes me up. I yawn and grab it.

Finley💘
Everyone get your asses up!!!!! I made breakfastLuca💫
Hush, Fin, hushA few moments of silence pass and I nearly drift back to sleep, until my phone buzzes again.
Finley💘
I'm about to start banging pots and pans together if y'all don't start shuffling out of those rooms!I sigh and set my phone down. Thank god I don't get hangovers, just tired in the mornings. What happened last night? I barely remember the end of the night.
I pull the sheets off and set my feet on the cool hardwood floor. I know I'm the last one to the kitchen since I hear all their voices. I walk through the doorway, yawning, and they all look up at me.
None of their eyes leave me until I say something.
"Uh...morning?"
Finley inhales a little before flashing me a smile. "Morning, Riley. You sleep well?"
"Yeah. How about you guys?"
They all mumble out "yeah's" and "fines". We all awkwardly stay silent. There's a tension in the room, but I can't quite pin it down.
"Well I'm gonna go to the bathroom." I say, breaking the silence. They all nod their heads. This is so strange, what the hell is going on?
Before I can fully round the corner I hear Joey whisper -quite loudly- to the group. "I don't think she remembers anything. Maybe we should just not tell her?"
I quickly round back around the corner and look at all of them, arms crossed over my chest, quirking my brow.
"Okay, what the hell is going on? Why are you all acting so weird?"
They all stare at me, frozen like a deer caught in headlights. Finley coughs a little.
"Well, you were drunk."
"Very drunk," Luca adds in.
"We were all drunk," I say. "Except Finley."
"And you were sort of going on this rant about all of us. Nice things of course," Joey continues. "Then you got to August and you sort of..."
"You basically told him you like him," Finley finishes. My eyes flash to August, who was looking at me, a sympathetic expression on his face.
Oh god, Riley, you are literally so stupid. So so so stupid.
I swallow. "Is that it?"
They all look around at each other. No one spoke.
"Based on all of your faces, I did something really embarrassing?"
"Not really," Finley rubs her arm slightly. "You sort of told us something. Like something really personal."
I'm starting to catch on.
"It was about your sister."
I don't have a good feeling about this.
She pauses before finishing. "You told us about your sisters suicide. And that's why you and your mom moved here. And why she's not here with you."
Oh no. Well there goes trying to keep it a secret for a while. Why am I so stupid. Stupid stupid Riley.
I was obviously spacing out because I didn't realize Joey had walked up to me, only waking up when she placed a hand on my shoulder.
