Finley and I, well more like Finley, settled on a simple lavender floral print dress with long sleeves, and black old skool vans. For a little finishing touch, she added a dainty gold necklace with a small pendant hanging down from it. She insisted that she'd come over before he picks me up to do my hair.
"So if he leans in to kiss you you're gonna kiss back right?" She asks, combing a brush through my hair. Joey and Luca somehow got invited too, and were roaming around my room now.
"Of course she is," Joey answers for me. I look over at her and glare a little.
"I don't know if he's gonna try to kiss me. And if he does I don't know if I'm gonna kiss back. I know if I'll kiss back or not when the moment comes."
"Well when he kisses you be sure to text us," she kneels down and boops my nose. Luca laughs.
"And if you guys..." he makes a thrusting motion with his hips. "Do the deed call us."
Finley Joey and I erupt into "EWWWW's" and "LUCA's"
I throw a pillow off my bed at him and he laughs as he catches it.
"Riley, do not feel obligated to have sex with him on your first date. Anyways, August wouldn't ever do that. He's better that LUCA," Finley says as she braids my hair.
Joey plops herself down on my bed and holds a pillow to her chest.
"Hey Hey now, Luca is not a terrible man whore. He just....gets around."
We all laugh. If there's one thing I've learned about Luca in the week being here is that he will literally sleep with anyone. Like anyone.
Finley ties off my hair and I look in the mirror and smile. She does a good job with hair.
"Thanks Finn."
"My pleasure," she says in a fake British accent as she curtsies.
As if on cue, a knock rings out on the front door and we all stare out of my room. We all freak out, Luca grabbing my bag and trying to string it over my shoulder, Joey putting extra blush on my cheeks wiping away any funny makeup, Finley making sure my hair was good and secure. They probably made me look worse the way they all lunged at me when the doorbell rang.
Finley pushes me out of my room and I walk hesitantly to the door. I open it and my mouth tapes open a tiny bit.
He stood in the doorway, black jeans, white t-shirt with a red rose on it, covered by a denim jacket. And black old skool vans. Cool, we match.
He smiles sweetly at me. "Hey."
"Hey," I smile. I can hear the three musketeers squealing silently. I turn and see them peeking over the couch. Almost simultaneously they dive down so August and I can't see them. Maybe letting them stay at my house while I'm gone isn't a very good idea.
August leads me out to his car and opens the passenger door for me. That was a little unexpected.
"You look good."
I look over at him but his eyes are glued to the road. I'm glad he isn't looking at me cause I can feel a blush spreading across my cheeks.
"You too."
