I stake out in my room until my mom goes to bed. As soon as I hear her door shut, I text Finley.
Riley🦋
You can come get me nowFinley💘
Okay, we're on our way
No time to stop at my place you're gonna have to change in my carGreat, I'm gonna have to change in front of everyone. I don't care about the others, but changing in front of August? That's a no for me.
A few minutes later my phone buzzes, probably Finley telling me they're here. I fluff up the pillows that were posing as me under my covers. This time as I walk out of the door, I make sure to be extra stealthy.
I quietly walk down the stairs and get into her car, and my backpack with my clothes are immediately tossed back to me by Joey.
"Change."
"Forceful, Jo," I laugh as I unzip the bag. She looks back and looks between August and I before smirking. Oh god, she only wants me to change cause August's here.
I sigh and comply, taking off my pajama shorts and quickly slipping into my jeans. Luca and August make it a point to stare out the opposite window as we drive. I slip my shirt off and am left exposed in my bra as I search through the bag for my top. Oh god I should've found the top before I took it off. You're so dumb, Riley.
August glances over to see if I'm done and we meet eyes. He gives me an up and down and his eyes widen before turning quickly back around.
"Oh whatever August it's just a bra," Joey says. She saw that, oh god. Luca laughs.
"Nothing you haven't seen before, right man?" He gives August a pat on the back.
"I'm being respectful of my friend," August says.
Okay ouch. Friend? Just friend? What?
I finally find the shirt and pull it on, then put on my sneakers.
"Okay, I'm done you guys don't have to glue your eyes to the window anymore."
We pull up to a rather large house and Finley takes the keys out of the ignition and tosses them to Joey.
"Your turn," she smirks. Joey rolls her eyes.
"Yeah yeah. Lucas next."
Ignoring the small argument in the front seat, Luca hops out of the car and chases after some guy.
"What was that about?" I ask, still watching Luca and the mystery guy walk into the party together.
"Some guy he's been seeing. He won't tell us who it is though," Joey explains.
"Huh, he's gay? I had no idea."
"Come on Riley. He makes it so obvious. And he's bi."
"Okay alright, maybe someone's sexuality isn't what I see right away," I laugh. Finley rolls her eyes.
"Your lying if you say you've never been able to spot a flamboyant gay from a mile away."
I roll my eyes and open the door.
"Come on let's go get drunk."
The bass from the music reverberates in my chest as I make my way to the kitchen, as someone told us that's where all the alcohol was.
Spotting the bottles of tequila and vodka, I grab a bottle of Svedka and take three swigs directly from it. I look back in front of my and see the wide eyes of my friends.
