Guilds on the Move

So as I said before, this will be a separate arc that will only feature Tetsa and Damos. I'll also be making up my own original guild for this arc only. Don't know how many chapters this arc will be because I really want to get to the next official arc after the jellal arc. Can't wait to write about it. Anyways, enough of that, enjoy!

-Point of View: Damos-

2 days after the battle with Phantom Lord ended, repairs to the guild were now underway. Me and Tetsa were going to help but our master gave us a special mission to do instead. We were to take down a dark guild that's recently been attacking nearby towns. Their next target was able to be predicted so we headed off as soon as we could. It was a days walk to the town but we were able to get there before anything dangerous happened. "So what's this dark guild called anyway? And do they even have a reason for attacking so many towns?" I asked Tetsa as she filled me in on the info. "The guild is called "Scorching Soul", they've recently been making a name for themselves by attacking innocent people. Supposedly, spies form the magic council were able to confirm that this town was their next target. We're not sure why, could just be random for all we know. What we do know is that they take rewards wherever they go. Women, children, artifacts, it's all fair game to them. They kill any men on sight so be on guard if we do have to confront them." Tetsa said to me. "Don't worry about me Tetsa, nothing bad will happen as long as we stay together. Now then, think we should speak with the mayor of this town?" I asked her as she nodded.

We walked through the town, passing by several large buildings, even a museum that had a sword on display. "If I were to steal something, I would try and get my hands on that." I thought to myself as we reached the town hall. We went inside and found the mayor sitting in her office. "Can I help you two with something?" She asked us as we approached her desk. "Not quite yet. We're wizards from the Fairy Tail guild. We have word that a dark guild is about to launch an assault on this town. We're here to defend it, and any help that's available would be appreciated. If anyone in this town has any skills in combat, we would very much like it if they would aid us in repelling this guild. Also, the guild in mention likes to steal away objects. They choose to take people and priceless artifacts, but for what reason, we do not know yet." Tetsa explained to the mayor. "Oh, so you're the wizards we were informed about. The magic council told me some wizards would come from a nearby guild to help us. I thank you both for coming but unfortunately, I am ashamed to say that no one in our small town is able to help you two. We're a peaceful village, we have no reason to fight. But if there's any other way for us to help, please let me know." She said as me and Tetsa looked to each other and nodded. "Well if no one can fight, that certainly does make things a little harder. We must assume this guild will attack during the night, that's how they've been doing it recently. We'll do this then, there is a nearby forest, maybe only 2-3 kilometres away. Before the sun sets, you and everyone in this town will leave to hide in this forest. We don't know how messy things will get here, and we don't want anyone to get hurt. Lives are more important than artifacts too. We'll try our best to keep your town in tact, and take down this invading guild." I said to the mayor. She nodded and said "We'll go along with your plan. But I must also mention, in our museum, we currently have a special sword out on display. I'm not sure if this is true or not but, that sword supposedly houses a demon inside of it. I'm not entirely sure but it does emanate with dark magic. Above all else, make sure they do not take that blade." "We won't let you down ma'am!" We both said as we left to go prepare ourselves.

-Time Skip: 6 hours-

Nightfall had arrived and all of the town's people had left. We were the only ones remaining, and we were readying ourselves for whatever was to come. We stationed ourselves at the edge of town since we hope to have almost no damage to the town itself. We would try to push back the dark guild from here but if we were to start getting overwhelmed, we would fall back to the museum and protect that dark blade. We had a plan going into this, Tetsa would create a perimeter, forcing the invading guild to stay some distance away. If they were to make it past, I would go out and deal with whoever was getting too close. Hopefully this guild didn't have too many members, or else this would be a long fight. Now all we had to do was wait for them to arrive.
