Trespassers!

That last chapter had way more time skips than I imagined it having. It was necessary though since I had no choice but to include everything that happened in that chapter. Now, we start to get into the real threat of the arc. Grimoire Heart will appear and I've already decided on who Damos and Tetsa will face off against. If you're disappointed by who they fight in this chapter, then don't worry, they'll face better opponents later on. The people they fight in this chapter, I completely forgot they even existed. So many things are gonna happen, and I can't wait for them to come. And i'm still trying to decide on a really tough decision that's coming up soon. It's actually really tough to figure out what I should do. However, i'm talking for too long. Enjoy!

"How long does this cave go on for?" Tetsa asked as she let out a couple of sighs. I did the same and said "I've got no clue. It feels like we've been walking for hours. It's probably only been like 15 minutes though." "I'd say this isn't a team combat route. I'm sure we would've ran into one of the other pairs by now." Tetsa said as I stopped walking. I saw something ahead of us in the darkness. "Hold on. I think I see the exit. It's over there." I said, pointing to it. We walked over to it and saw a locked gate with an inscription right next to it. The inscription read, "The serenity route was chosen. To pass, the team must solve a riddle. However, with there being no combat here, you must overcome another challenge later on. In order to open the gate in front of you, speak the answer to the given riddle: "What always runs but doesn't walk? What has a bed but never sleeps? What has a mouth but never eats?" When the answer is spoken, the gate shall open and the second serenity challenge will be revealed. Good luck my children!" I put some thought into the riddle, but it was simpler than it seemed. "The answer to the riddle is a river. A river is always running, has a river bed, and has a river mouth." I said as the gate began to swing open. "Nice job! Now let's see what the next part of this challenge is." Tetsa said as the inscription began to change. It now read, "You have solved the riddle and opened the gate. You may now advance to the next part of your S class promotion trial. However, your serenity challenge is not yet complete. Please read the second half: Find the first master, there waits your next second challenge. I wait with her. Show me you deserve to be S class." "So we must find the first masters grave and fight our current master. That won't be an easy task. We'll have to muster up all of our strength in order to succeed." Tetsa explained as I nodded in agreement. "It makes the most sense though. What better way to prove your S class than to fight someone who is even beyond that." I said as we began to walk through the gate. We could see light at the end of the cave, indicating that we were at the exit. 

When we left the cave, we came to an open area next to a waterfall. Sitting near the water were Gajeel and Levy, and Cana and Lucy. "How's it going!? I'm assuming you all passed your challenges as well?" Tetsa asked them as they all nodded. Gajeel was the only one without a smile, so i'm guessing he didn't enjoy his teams challenge. "What did you two have to do?" Levy asked us. "We got one of the serenity routes. All we had to do to get past it was answer a simple riddle. But sometime during the trial, we have to face Pops at the first masters grave." I explained as Levy started to laugh. "What's so funny?" I asked her. "We got a serenity route too, but you got it way worse! We don't have to face the master and hearing that you do makes it seem like I have a better chance of winning this thing!" She explained which made it clear why Gajeel looked so upset. He probably wanted to fight someone badly but instead, he and Levy got a serenity route. "So what did you and Cana have to do then? Did you face one of the S class wizards?" Tetsa asked. "Nope! We took down Freed and Bickslow!" Cana explained which took us by surprise a little. "Wait... you beat Freed and Bickslow!? How did you manage to do that!?" I asked but they just laughed. "That's our little secret. And now, we're supposed to wait here for the remaining teams. Hopefully they don't take too long." Cana said as we all found a place to sit down and wait patiently.
