Sorry that I didn't upload any new chapters yesterday, I just got caught up with a little party at college. I guess I've already broken my word about trying to upload at least two chapters a day. Regardless, we're finally getting into the good parts of this arc. I'm getting excited for some of the battles to come too, especially if you know about Erza vs. Erza. If you haven't guessed at this point, I will indeed be doing Damos and Tetsa vs. their Edolas counterparts. The only problem is trying to figure out how the fight will work. I'll figure something out when I get to that point though. Enjoy!

We had managed to make our way into the west tower, and we were now trying to find someway to get to the basement. We found a staircase and we decided to head down it, hoping it took us all the way to the bottom. "Things are just getting worse by the minute." Happy said. "Who knew Edolas was getting so close to starting a war with the Exceeds." Lucy said which really, she was right. It was hard to believe that the people of Edolas would start a war with the beings they called gods here. "What they choose to do is none of our concern. We have no stake in the matter. They can wipe each other out of they like." Carla said as we came to the bottom of the staircase. We kept on moving down the halls but we hadn't made it to the bottom yet. We crossed several small bridges, each revealing a floor beneath them. "We've gotta be getting there soon. Let's try and pick up the pace." Tetsa said as we rounded a corner, where we were met by three different hallways. "Which way should we take?" I asked but our thoughts were cut short when a lance was thrown at us from the centre hallway. It landed in the ground just in front of us and it let out some bolts of electricity. "Watch out!" I yelled as I stepped in front of Lucy to block the attack. It stung my skin, making it smoke when the electricity stopped emitting itself. "This is as far as you'll be going!" A familiar voice said to us. When we looked, standing in front of us was Erza Knightwalker and dozens of armed guards. "Oh come on, seriously!? I thought you had more important things to do than bother with us." Lucy said as Erza gave us a smirk. I felt confident that myself and Tetsa could hold her and her troops back for some time, but that confidence quickly drifted away when two more people emerged from the other hallways. "You're pretty tough to take an attack like that! I guess you are a little like me after all!" The Edolas Damos said, revealing himself to us. "He was foolish to do that. It's just unnecessary. He is one of their only members who can fight, and he wastes his energy on protecting someone who cannot. Stupidity." Edolas Tetsa said as she revealed herself from the shadows. "Of course. They just had to show up here. Now what are we supposed to do?" I thought to myself as I quickly started to think of ways to escape this mess. "Leave them to me. I have personal business with them." Erza said as she picked up her lance from the ground. "I'm impressed by you, Earth Land Damos. You just took a direct attack from my magic, and you're still standing. However, my orders said nothing about taking you alive. So it seems there's only one option here!" She said as she started coursing electrical energy through her lance. She then thrusted it forward, attempting to stab me with it. I ignited my arms and hands and caught the lance before it could hit me. I then started to push back, shoving Erza against the wall. "But how!? Doesn't my lance hurt you!?" She asked me as I started to laugh. "I've been hit by stronger lightning than this before! You're just tickling me with this sad excuse for electricity!" I yelled as I forced the lance down. But when it was facing downward, it shot out some sort of energy that shattered and opened up the ground beneath us.

Me and my friends, along with Erza began to fall to the floor below us. Tetsa and I both created our wings as we were falling. I grabbed Lucy by wrapping my legs around her waist, and Tetsa grabbed onto Happy and Carla. As we were falling though, I suddenly felt a painful feeling surge through my right arm. I turned my head around and saw Erza slash at my arm with her lance. I turned the rest of my body around so I could have a clear shot for an attack. "Zenith Wyvern Roar!" I cried out as I unleashed my fiery breath attack. However, it didn't even make it to her as an axe was thrown into the stream of fire. It looked like it absorbed the flames into it as it was hurdling towards me. I had no time to dodge and the axe cut my left arm, leaving a large gash in it. Both my arms were getting weaker from the constant damage they were taking and eventually, my strength gave way and me and Lucy fell to the ground. Luckily for us, we were only a few feet off the ground at that point. Erza was still above us and was quickly falling right towards us. I looked to my left and saw the axe from before was stuck in the ground. I reached over and pulled it out, then ignited it with my flames. I stood up fast and prepared to block her attack. But like before, the axe absorbed the flames into it. "Crap! I don't know how this thing works! I'll just have to use it like this then!" I thought to myself as Erza had begun to swing her lance at me. I countered by swinging the axe at her and meeting her weapon halfway. An explosive clash of sparks ensued, cracking the floor beneath us. "You will not lay another finger on my friends! Got that!" I yelled but Erza didn't reply. "Get away from him!" Tetsa yelled as she fell from above us, wielding her dark katana. We both jumped back to avoid her attack. "Leave her to me! Go find Wendy and Carla!" Tetsa said. "Are you crazy!? You're fighting Erza, and her troops will be here any minute! Plus, our counterparts are coming as well!" I yelled as two people jumped down to our level. It was our counterparts, and mine was staring at me with a pissed off look. "Give me back my axe, you weakling!" The Edolas Damos said as he tried to swipe the axe out of my hands. He missed and left himself open so I swung my left leg at him, hitting him in the face. "Here, take it! I don't need a weapon like that to take you down!" I said as I tossed him the weapon. "And why's that!? Is it because my battle axe can take in all matter of fire!? Oh wait! You use fire too! Wow, that must really suck! I'm you're natural counter!" The Edolas Damos said as he picked up the axe and took a battle position.
