"Don't tell me, these two must be Talon and Alto?" Daniel smiled, his eyebrow raised slightly.

"Yeah they are." rolling my eyes with a smile. "May they come in, Daniel, after all this is your house." Daniel jerked his head and moved aside letting my two friends inside. Talon was dressed in a tight white shirt, that displayed his muscular chest and a light blue jean jacket over that. Dark jeans covered his legs, but were once again, fashionably tight, and white tennis shoes finished the look. His hair was brushed back and perfectly styled.

Alto had on a simple black shirt with a white shark printed onto it and ripped jeans and black military boots. His long braid was wrapped around his neck like a scarf while the rest of the hair was styled much like Talon's.

"Where did you two get clothes from?" I asked.

"Don't you remember me telling you that there was a summer palace in the Gulf of Mexico? Well, we have a nice little land mansion in the same area. So we stopped there and had Tilika fix us up. Then, of course, we followed the bond to find you. At times like this, I'm glad for that bond." Talon wrapped an arm around my shoulder with a smile.

I was glad for the bond too. The bond allowed us to sense each other and came in handy during fights. The bond started growing stronger once we had found Alto. Now it seems the two of them had followed that tug down to me.

Speaking of Alto, the normally energetic and loudmouthed shark had become quite quiet. His eyes looked to me and then to Ethan, his eyes hiding a deep glee. It took me a minute to place it, but once I did, it hit me in the face like a ton of bricks. 'He's a red-head, human, has siblings and lives near water, but that's as much as I know, I don't even know his name.' My eyes only widened slightly looking between the two of them. "Oh my. My best friend and my grandson. Materus"

"Allow me to introduce everyone. On the human side are my grandchildren. Daniel here is the oldest, Ethan is the middle and Natalie is the youngest." They all said their greetings and I saw Alto mouth Ethan's name. "On the mer side are my partners, which I explained earlier are kind of like brothers. This is the Prince of the Atlantic, Talinian, but we call him Talon." Talon gave them a little bow, his hand on his collarbone. " And this," I grabbed Alto by his shoulders. "is the great white shark, Alto."

"Nice to meet you, guys." A light blush painted his cheeks.

"Well, I don't know about my siblings but I am happy to finally meet you guys. Frost told us about you." Ethan beamed, only to grunt when Natalie elbowed him in the ribs.

"So since you guys are like brothers, does that mean we can call you our uncles?" She smiled. The three of us laughed, clutching our sides.

Talon wiped his eye before speaking in between laughs. "Sure, why the hell not." The six of us talked of a great many things, exchanging stories of our glory day. Every so often I would catch Alto sneak a peek at Ethan, or Ethan looking at Alto.

"So you guys need to get to the other side of the country?" Daniel pulled out a map.

"Yeah, we need to get to a place called Mariana's Trench, somewhere in the Pacific Ocean." Talon looked at the map, scowling at the amount of land between us and the Pacific.

"Ohh you guys are so lucky. I'd love to go explore with you, but I have classes, and Daniel here has worked." Natalie pouted, her arms crossed over her chest.

"I'll go with them. It's not like I have anything better to do. Besides it's not like you guys have a driver's license." Ethan sat back in his chair, casting Alto a quick side-look.

"That is true, we will need someone, a human, we can rely on." Talon leaned back in his chair. "We can rely on you right kid?"

Ethan looked at him with mock shock. "Yes, we can rely on him, Talon. I swear." I lightly punched the muscular man in the shoulder.

"So, road trip here we come!" Ethan yelled, pumping his fist into the air.
