"Fix You"

You said I couldn't fix you,
no one could.
Here's the thing,
I never really wanted to.
To say "I want to fix you"
first implies you need fixing.
You do NOT.
Though even if you did,
to say "I want to fix you"
is to trivialize the way
you feel.
I am ALWAYS here for you;
however,
you didn't come in a box
where all your parts
were meant to be assembled,
reassembled,
or fixed when you
"fall apart"
Nope, you are wholly,
sincerely magnificent
precisely as you are.
You don't need anybody
to fix you.
If you are having
a rough day
you merely need to
organize your thoughts,
work through your demons,
and above all
NEVER let anyone
tell you that you
are damaged goods!
NEVER let anyone
tell you that you
need fixed
because you do
NOT!
