Addictions
Everybody's got them.
Some are addicted to food,
some to drugs,
others to cigarettes
to alcohol
to sex
to cutting
to cheating
to lying.
The list goes on.
Addictions,
they're all around us.
Each and every day
Everywhere you look -
Addictions.
Just because you don't see
telltale signs-
a used syringe
a full ashtray
a copper tinged blade
empty bottles strewn across the floor
It doesn't mean
you're not surrounded
by addictions.
