Kate's P.O.V

I ran up the stairs to pack I got my clothes, my penny board, my hygiene products,and made sure not to forget my blades. I put it all in my suitcase and then went over to Sofia's room. We said our goodbyes and I promised to call her whenever I could. I then gave her a big hug and went downstairs to meet my new family. I came downstairs to see Ricky finalizing the papers with Miss Estin. I then asked "are you going to be my legal father?" He said yes and gave me a huge hug which made me flinch and jump away

" I am sorry it's just I'm not used to hugs yet i guess." "that's fine baby girl" he said and we went to the car where everyone else already was. We got to the car then I sat in the middle between Sam and Jc. Ricky turned up the radio to hear the song Phoenix By the Fall Out Boys. " I love this song! put on your warpaint! you are a brick tied to me that's dragging me down Strike a match and I'll burn you to the ground....." I sang along to the song and then noticed everyone was looking at me.

"Wow you can sing!" Trevor said to me. I started blushing not knowing what to say. " Thanks ummmm uhhhh well... Don't lie to me I know I'm not good. I just enjoy the music." I said " you're amazing" Ricky said to me. " thanks are we almost there. " ya 2 more blocks" Jc said.

We pulled to one of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen in LA." Wow you guys live here?" "Ya it's pretty nice " Sam said. We went inside and Ricky told me he wanted to show me to my room. We ran up the stairs to a room at the end of the hall. He opened the doors to the most beautiful room I have ever seen before. 3 walls were white with one wall being a cranberry. The bedspread was a black and white moon with the stars there were bright and colorful throw pillows one was a Ferris wheel one looked like a galaxy and one had the woods with the word Wanderlust on it. There was a small white desk over in the corner that had a laptop the camera and iPhone on it. It was so beautiful.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I screamed I then jumped up and gave Ricky a giant bear hug. Afraid I was gonna pull him down I let go as just Hugged his waist instead. He hugged me back and put his chin on top of my head. I am really short 5 foot 1 maybe and petite but I don't think I'm that skinny.

"Your welcome sweetie. Go ahead and unpack then come join is for lunch your so tiny you need to eat girl" Ricky said I then unpacked my clothes next my toiletries in the bathroom and then put my blades underneath some papers in a dresser drawer. I went down the stairs to everyone eating lunch. There was a sandwich and chips set out for me on the table. I went and sat down next to connor on the couch with my food. Everyone was watching spongebob eating there lunches. I ate a chip or 2 and then picked and pulled apart my sandwich to make it look like I had eaten some.

Ricky's P.O.V

We all sat down to eat lunch and then I saw Kate come down the stairs. Gosh I had only met and gotten to know her today but I already love her so much. She grabbed her food and went and sat down on the couch by Connor. Boy is she light when she jumped up to give me a hug she felt like she weighed 70 pounds. She is pretty short though. I watched her pick up her lunch for about 15 minutes before I decided to speak up. "Kate why aren't you eating you just pulling apart do you not like it?"

Kate P.O.V

Crap he's been watching me eat. "Oh no it's fine I'm just not hungry that's all." "okay well please eat a few bites for me you need to gain some weight you are so small" Ricky said. I then picked up a piece of ham that was in the sandwich I ate it and then ate a couple more bites of food noticing that Sam, Ricky, and Jc we're all looking at me making sure I ate. After we finish lunch I told the boys I was going to take a shower and get in some other clothes. I went up the stairs and then kneeled down in front of the toilet. I took two fingers and slowly push them into the back of my throat, after about three more tries I finally threw up the contents of my lunch.

"Kate are you okay in there? I was just going to my room and then I thought I heard someone throwing up." Jc asked. "Yeah I'm fine my stomach just hurts a little probably ate something bad." "okay well when you're done we have family initiation for you so be ready" Jc said.

I took my shower and then put on some sweats and a longsleeved gray T-shirt. I threw my hair up into a messy bun and went downstairs.
