Newbie drama

It was still the first day and everyone was currently having lunch. Birdo was having a chat with Yoshi, then Yoshi got up to join Luigi. Mario and Djhon were at training! Yoshi then came across another pink Yoshi. 

"Hi there, I'm Lucy!" she said brightly.

"I'm Yoshi!" Yoshi said.

"So how was your summer?" she asked nervously.

"Oh it was great!" Yoshi replied. "I went out to Spain with some of my good friends! It was amazing! What about you!"

"I went to Brazil. I'd never been there before and my parents said it was a great country. Which, in my opinion it was." Lucy said.

This caught Birdo's eye. Having been hanging with Peach for 3 and a half years, she always knew when someone liked someone else. Once Yoshi left Birdo approached Lucy.

"Excuse me?" she said. "You realise that he is MY boyfriend right?"

"Erm yes, but do I look like I care?" Lucy said, grinning. "I'll steal him from you just wait!" 

"No you won't, Yoshi said she loved me and that he would never ditch me for someone else. Especially people like you."

"Lol, your just jealous because you know for a fact that I'm better looking than you." Lucy grinned.

Unfortunately for Birdo, she was right but, that didn't stop her.

"Yes better looking, yet I've heard many people chat shit about you. Saying that you look idiotic."

"Have you seen your bow tie? You look stupid in that!" Lucy laughed.

That did it! Birdo went for attack but Daisy came in at the right time at the right moment and stop.

"You will regret that!" Birdo sneered. 

A ghost appeared at Luigi's table. "Erm hi, I'm Boo, could I sit with you two?" He asked.

"Sure!" Luigi said. "Pull a chair, also, welcome!"

"Thanks!" said Boo. "I just wondered who I should be friends with and you seem trustworthy so!"

At practise everyone was happy when they saw Djhon training with them but Coach DK told them a twist.

"So, boys. I can see you are happy that someone is with us today. However I need to tell you this now. As you are aware there is always a basketball match against the upper year next year and Djhon can play if he wants. But for the Borough cup, he is not going to play with you guys. He is going to manage. Remember that you need to make the final of the Borough cup to get into the National cup. That cup he will be allowed to take part in. So our first game for soccer is next week at home to flowers!" 

"Coach DK I won't be there that weekend I have a music concert!" Djhon said.

"That's fine, that means I'll just have to record them playing and send it to you so you could help them improve." Coach DK said. The team continued training.

"We have basketball already. We don't start basketball season until spring term." Djhon said.

"But we always have a warm up match in the first week." Mario said. "Are you gonna play?"

"Yeah sure!" Djhon replied. "Is the upper year good?"

"They are good at basketball and soccer but not athletics. They beat us 73-42 last year!" Mario said.

"How come they are not good at athletics?" Djhon asked.

"There is no one that is fast in their year and only one of them can jump high!" Mario replied. "But they can throw really far!"

The final periods came and went. Luigi went to Daisy's house to hang out with her. Waluigi went to the park with Mario and Djhon since they had no homework. Bowser seemed to be a changed person since he never shoved anyone or taken anything from someone on that day. 

Luigi was heading towards Daisy's house when a girl approached him.

"Hi!" She said.

"Hi!" Luigi replied. "You're that girl that finished the maths test in 10 minutes. Could you please tell me your name!"

"I'm Pauline!" she said.

"Oh, I'm Luigi and this is Daisy!" Luigi said.

Pauline looked at Daisy. She forced out a smile.

"Well, I've got to go now I'm helping Daisy with something!" Luigi said.

"Ok bye!" Pauline winked at him and went off.

Daisy looked at Luigi. "I don't think she likes me!" she said.

"Why wouldn't she! She only saw you once!" Luigi said.

"Yeah but I saw her hanging out with Toadette!" Daisy said.

"What, oh my God are you kidding me?" Luigi said. "I'll tell her that Toadette is a horrible influence!" 

"Ok!" Daisy said.

That was a debut for some of the new characters. You also saw how Bowser seemed to be a changed person but you probably have no idea why? It will be mentioned soon enough. Hope you enjoyed this chapter.
