An unexpected event

The whole school got called up for a meeting with Mrs Johnson.

"So, everyone is wondering why you are all here. So I've decided that one of the years are going to do a talent show and perform in front of us!"

The whole crowd were shocked. They never had this last year or the year before. So why now?

"This is the draw. Everyone will find out which year is going to perform for all of us here!" Mrs Johnson moved the drawing board and took out a number.

"Oh wow, it's the ninth grade!" Mrs Johnson said.

The 9th graders were groaning.

"Why us," Mario said. "Why are we performing to everyone else."

"I feel like this was planned!" Djhon said.

"The talent show will take place next Friday!" Mrs Johnson said.

"Friday?" Daisy said. "Are you serious!"

"We have a week to prepare. What does this witch expect us to do?" Wario asked.

"9th graders enough talking. And Wario I'd love to see you at my office!" Mrs Johnson said.

"Shit, she actually heard him!" Morton whispered.

"I heard you too Morton. Mind your language!" Mrs Johnson said, considering that the 9th graders were sat near the back of the hall.

"So, head if too class. 9th graders stay behind!" Mrs Johnson said.

The whole school except 9th grade stay behind.

"So, you guys have a week to prepare for your talent show. Every single one of you who is sporty is doing it. You can choose to go into groups if you want to but I want everyone who takes part in sport to participate. As they are used to performing in front of crowds. Especially the ones who took part in boxing. You'll have a week to do it. I'll put a sheet out for you to write your names on. If you are taking part you write your name down. Whoever is at the top goes first and don't skip lines. If I see one line skipped. I'll get a new sheet with your name at the top. Regardless of if you wrote your name down first. Also, you can only do MUSIC!"

Even more groans came from the 9th graders.

"You can leave the hall, except Wario." Mrs Johnson said.

Everyone left the room.

"So we have a talent show to prepare for. Well, I guess it's time to focus on that. You don't want to end up looking stupid in front of those older years!" Djhon said.

"Are you gonna go in a group?" Mario asked.

"Nah because I'm doing a soca thing and I doubt you know what that is!" Djhon said.

"Yeah I don't!" Mario laughed. "I'm  gonna try and get the rest of us in a group so good luck!"

"Thx man!"

So yeah, I've not seen any other Mario High school stories do this so I figured why not. Who is gonna win the talent show? You'll find out soon.
