Finding a freud

Diddy Kong approached Mario. After what he had done to him a couple months ago he was unsure whether to talk to him or not. But he had to talk about the situation.

"Hi Mario," Diddy Kong said. "Can we talk?"

Mario looked up and saw him. "Erm, sure!"

"You were right about Dixie, she is horrible!" Diddy Kong said.

"Took you long enough to realise that. So what made you finally realise this?" Mario asked.

"I saw her with another boy and they were kissing in front of my house. I don't think she knew where I lived but I couldn't believe it. I was broken," Diddy Kong said.

"I'm so sorry to hear that," Mario said.

"I have to apologise for the way I treated you before man, it was harsh. Also could you tell Daisy and Rosalina that I'm sorry too. I've tried talking to them but they're treating me like the way Toadette and them lot are treating them. I guess that's what happens when you trick them into doing things," Diddy Kong said.

"Yeah," Mario said. "I'll tell them in sure they'll forgive you. So, are you gonna..."

"Break up with her? YES!" Diddy Kong said. "Could you like come and support me because you might have to stop me from being violent."

"Oh ok sure," Mario said. The pair walked into the canteen where the girls were sitting.

"Hey babe, why is that loser with you?" Dixie asked.

"Oh don't worry about him," Diddy Kong said. Mario smiled a bit. Diddy Kong was playing dumb to her. "So, what were you up to on Tuesday?"

"Erm not much," Dixie said. "I had a lot of  homework that day,"

"Oh yeah," Diddy Kong said. "So, you weren't taking a hike with anyone yeah?"

"No I didn't," Dixie lied. She had a feeling that she had been caught.

"Ok, so I looked our of my window and saw two people kissing each other. One of them had hair a lot like yours," Diddy Kong said.

Shit, Dixie thought. She knows she has been caught.

"You got fucking caught, trying to play a little game with me, like you thought you were gonna get away with this," Diddy Kong said.

"Yeah, whatever go away then," Dixie said.

"Look, we don't need losers like you get why don't you piss off before we force you to go," Pauline said.

"See, these are your friends right, these are the people you look up to. You made me prank two innocent girls to make me look like and idiot. And Pauline, before I expose to them lot who you like, because you were dumb enough to tell me that you have an eye on someone who is friends with him!" Diddy Kong said, pointing at Mario.

"Wait, what!" Toadette said.

"Luigi right?" Mario asked.

"Nope not anymore, someone else now!" Diddy Kong said. "So Pauline I suggest you shut up,"

Pauline kept quiet.

"Now, back to you. I don't want anything to do with you again," Diddy Kong said.

"Like I care," Dixie just shrugged. Not caring one bit.

"You will care after I do this," Diddy Kong said snatching her phone and running away with it.

"MY PHONE!" Dixie screamed. She got up to chase him. Toadette followed. Mario just laughed a bit then turning to Pauline.

"What do you want??" She asked.

"So you like someone who is in my group?" Mario asked.

"Why do you care?" Pauline asked. "It's not like you can help,"

"That's the thing Pauline I can," Mario said. "You're too busy hanging out with them lot that you think we are trash. Look, you tell me who it is and I'll help you out. We can keep this between the two of us," Mario said.

"Ok I'll tell you but if anyone finds out about it I'll make you pay and you will hate it," Pauline said.

"Fine," Mario said. Pauline whispered to his ear.

"Really, why though?" He asked.

"Well I think he is sexy. He is smart and athletic. Have you noticed that I haven't picked on him the entire year? Why do you think I was pissed off when I found out the girls and boys competed on separate days?" Pauline said.

"Well, thanks for telling me. I guess you're not as bad as I thought you were," Mario said.

"Yeah I can say the same about you. But remember, keep this between us and no one else. We can't be friends yet," Pauline said.

"Sure," Mario said.
