What It's About

Hi, all! This is the author. I just wanted to explain a few things.

This story is based on my everyday life. I have added some stuff for effect, such as myself having three brothers, and my friends life in general. I did not want to put anything about their family or anything they went through on here without their permission, so I've made some stuff up.

The characters in this story are based on my actual friends in real life, at my actual dance studio. I have made their personalities and appearances as close to what they actually look like and act like in real life. Their names have been altered for safety reasons, I hope you understand my reasoning.

I used the name of my dance studio, Step II Dance Center, as the studio in the book. Same goes for the pizza place, The Burg.

Every chapter is one day in my life, with the exception of Thursday and Friday (one chapter) and Saturday and Sunday (one chapter).

There are minor swear words in this book, wanted to give everyone a heads up. No f-bombs, or calling people "female dogs" (if you dont know what I mean, please look it up) I just wanted to give a small warning, in case people are sensitive about that kind of thing.

I will be adding links to a song I put in the story, so you can listen to it.

If you are confused about anything going on in this book, (e.g. dance steps, details) just message me on here about it. I will try to answer as best as I can.

This is what my schedule actually looks like in real life:

Mondays: Lyrical, 6:30-7:30 PM

Tuesdays: Ballet, 6:30-8:00 PM. Dance team, 8:00-9:00 PM

Wednesdays: Jazz tech, 7:30-8:30 PM

Thursdays: Bible study, 6:30-8:00 PM (no dance class)

Fridays: Voice lessons, 5:30-6:00 PM. Irish, 6:15-7:15 PM

Saturdays: Teaching, 9:00-10:00 AM. Ballet partners, 10:00-11:30 AM

That is my daily schedule. This is the schedule in the book:

Mondays: Lyrical, 6:30-7:30 PM

Tuesdays: Dance team, 6:30-7:30 PM. Ballet, 7:30-9:00 PM

Wednesdays: Jazz tech, 7:30-8:30 PM

Thursdays: No dance

Fridays: Voice lessons, 5:30-6:00

Saturdays: Ballet partners, 10:00-11:30 AM

Please note I have changed certain things in my schedule, I've tried to make this as easy to understand as possible.

I have excluded Sunday's from my schedule, because I may not have time to write them on Dec. 2nd, and I will most likely not be able to write on Dec. 7th-9th, due to the show I'm in. Sorry for any inconvenience.

This book isn't just about dance, or what it takes. It's about balancing your normal life, and your life at dance. Remembering choreography, and still knowing that complex equation you need for your math test on Monday. Waking up with bruises that you don't know how it got there. The struggles and the easy stuff.

If you have any questions regarding anything in this book, message me on Wattpad.

Enjoy the story!
