Chapter 8 - Rumor Has It

1 week later

Ross' P.O.V.

So Laura and I have been dating for a week right now. She didn't go to school for a week but I did. I would visit her after school though.

Today she'll be going back and I'm planning on going together. It was 6:25 am and I texted her, "Morning Laurie 💛 - Ross the Boss"

I like calling myself Ross the Boss so don't judge. After a few minutes she replied, "Morning Rossy ^_^ - Laurie Bear" she knows how to annoy me with just my name.

I called her. After the first ring, she answered.

Ross: Hey Laur
Laura: Hi Ross
Ross: Want me to pick you up for school?
Laura: Sure
Ross: Pick you up at 7:30 then
Laura: Okay see you
Ross: Bye love you Laur
Laura: Love you too Ross

I jumped in the shower for 5 minutes and chose my clothes.

I just dressed up as casual cause it's just school.

I wore a black v neck, white skinny jeans, a black leather jacket and black high tops. I sprayed a little of perfume and went downstairs.

My family was eating breakfast and messing around. "Sup Ross" Rocky acted cool. "Hey guys" I put my bag down and ate breakfast.

"Are you wearing perfume?" Riker asked while sniffing me. "Uhm, yeah" I put food in my mouth.

"Well that ain't normal" he said sitting on the couch. I checked my phone and it was 7:20.

I got my car keys and my backpack and said my goodbyes.

Laura's P.O.V.

I got in the shower and took a warm bath. I got out and chose my clothes.

I'll be wearing a dark blue lace top, pink skinny jeans and black wedges to reach Ross' height.

I put light make up on and curled my hair. I put it on a high ponytail and I'm ready to go.

I went downstairs and my parents and sister were there. "Hey mom, dad and Vanessa" I smiled and sat on the chair on the table.

"Morning Laura" dad said while reading the newspaper and drinking coffee.

"Ross will pick you up isn't he?" Vanessa asked while taking a bite of her bread. "Yup!" I said happily and took a sip of my hot chocolate.

I heard a car pull up and someone texted me, "We don't wanna be late for school 😉 - Ross the Boss" I giggled and said my goodbyes.

I got out of the house and Ross was waiting beside his car.

"Hey Lau-" he was checking on me. I smirked.

Ross' P.O.V.

Laura was stunning as always. Plus, she was wearing a lace top. I swear I was drooling.

She shut my mouth and whispered, "We don't wanna be late don't we?" I snapped out of my thoughts and just smiled.

I opened the door for her and we drove off.

We parked in front of the school. Laura held tight to me. I knew she was scared cause of what happened before. I put my arm around her waist and held her close to me. Like I was protecting her.

We looked at each other and nodded agreeing that we can go in. Once we got in, people were staring at us and whispering something.

I saw someone standing in front of me. Maia. Then I remembered something. The text. I held Laura tighter and slowly walked.
