Chapter 23 - December 29th

Ross' P.O.V.

I woke up with the sun light shining behind the curtains. I rubbed my eyes and looked around me. Laura isn't here.

I stood up and made my way to the bathroom. Before I could enter, I saw a note sticked to the door.

Good morning Rossy! I'm out with your family right now, I hope you don't mind. Well, I'll see you later ;) -Laur xx

Wow. I can't believe it. My girlfriend and family forgot that's it's my birthday today. I just took a shower to clear things out of my mind.

After a few minutes, I got out of the shower and dressed up. Plain white shirt, black ripped jeans and my converse. Mom isn't here right now so no one would fix my hair. Eh, I'll just leave it like this.

I grabbed my phone, wallet, and other things I need and walked out. I bumped into someone. "Oh I'm so sorry" he told me. I smile and nod.

Before I could walk away the guy stopped me. "Wait, are you mr..." he looks at the paper he's holding and looks back at me. "Ross Lynch?" he slowly walks towards me. "Uhm, yeah" I smile.

"Someone wanted me to give this to you" he smiles and takes something out of the bag that's hanging on his shoulder. It was a small box and it was wrapped. It had a note on it. I looked back at the guy.

"Thanks" I smile. He smiles back and walks away.

I look back at the small box and read the note.

Don't open unless you have 18 gifts

I was confused at first but I just shrugged it off. I walked to the lobby using the stairs because the elevator was being fixed. Someone walks up to me once I reached the lobby.

He gave me a medium sized box without saying a word and walked away. I was really confused right now but I just look at the box anyway. It had another note.

Wait, 2nd... This must be the second gift! I continued walking. I'm supposed to be going to the Water Park with my girlfriend and family but since they ditched me I'll just go by myself.

I just continued walking while searching for the other gifts.

Laura's P.O.V.

"I feel terrible for not greeting Ross a happy birthday!" I whine. "Come on Laura, its part of our plan. Don't worry" Riker comforts me.

I sigh and nod a little. "Okay, fine"

We continued preparing for Ross' birthday in the water park with the help of some people from the R5 Family.

I know! Sweet right? But right now I'm wondering how Ross is doing with the gifts...

A Few Hours Later

Ross' P.O.V.

So right now I collected 17 gifts. 1 more to go! You guys must be wondering how I'm carrying all of them.

You see, one of the people who gave me a gift gave me a big bag because he probably knew about this.

I walked a few blocks more and I arrived the water park. No one was giving me anything anymore. I bought a ticket and I realized I didn't bring any swimming trunks! Ugh how could I forget!

Ugh, I'll just buy in a store around the water park. Then they let me in the entrance.

"Are you mr Ross Lynch?" a security guard asks me. "Uh, yes. I am" I smile and he smiles back. "Follow me please" he turns around and leads me somewhere in the water park.
