Chapter 24 - New Years!

Laura's P.O.V.

I looked at myself at the mirror one last time to make sure my outfit was okay. Black joggers, black crop top and a pair of converse. My ombré hair, perfectly curled and light make up on. I was also wearing some shades. Looks okay to me.

I turned around and made my way to the bed. Making sure I packed everything, I opened my bag again and looked at my things making sure every thing is complete. I zipped my bag close and locked it with my padlock.

I suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and hot breath on my neck. I turned my head to the right and saw a mop of blonde hair. "Hello there blondie" I ruffled Ross' hair. "You ready to go?" He mumbled since his face was on my neck. I nod and turn around, facing him. I put my shades up on my head and he was looking at me. I stared deep in his eyes and they were beautiful. Those hazel, brown eyes which girls gets hypnotized with. He pecked my lips and hugged me. "I love you" He said through my hair. "I love you too" I say and bury my head in the crook of his neck.

We stay like that for a while until someone knocked on the door. "You guys ready to go?" We heard Rydel from outside. "Yeah. Be out in a minute" Ross says and we heard the sound of their footsteps fading. We both pull away. I put my shades down and we got our stuff. We looked at the room one more time, making sure we didn't forget anything and went outside.

I intertwine my fingers with Ross' large ones and we walked to the elevator where everyone else is waiting. "Morning guys" I wave at them. They respond saying good morning as well. We wait for the elevator to stop at our level and after a few seconds, the elevator doors opened. All of us stepped inside, holding our bags and Riker pressed the ground level button. The doors closed and elevator music was playing. "I wonder how people survive listening to elevator music" Ratliff suddenly says. We laugh and the elevator stopped at the ground level.

I could see the limo from outside. I'm guessing they already shipped the tour bus to New York. We're spending the New Years there since Vanessa and I wanted to spend it with our family too. Mom and dad said they wanted to spend New Years in New York so, why not? Ryland walked to the front desk to check us out while the rest of us walked outside to put our stuff in the limo. Ross offered to put my stuff in the trunk of the limo and I thanked him. Same thing happened with Rydel and Vanessa. So the three of us entered the limo and sat down at the very end, waiting for the others.

"You guys excited to see your family again?" Rydel started a conversation. "Yeah. I'm pretty sure the New Years would be fun since R5 will be performing in Times Square and we'll get to spend it with our family and the fans as well" I smile at her and Vanessa agrees. Rydel smiles at my respond and the guys enters the limo with loud laughing. Ross spots me and sits beside me. "You excited for New York?" He puts an arm around me. "Yup" I say before yawning and placing my head on top of his shoulder. And with that I fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of heels clicking, people running with the sound of the wheels of the luggages, and announcements about flights?

I open my eyes and I see I'm in the airport. I sit straight and Ross is sitting beside me. "Hey Laur" He smiles and kisses my cheek. "Hey" I smile back still confused on how I got here. Ross must have noticed so he explained to me. "You fell asleep in the limo, remember? Well, you were in a really deep sleep and I couldn't wake you up," He chuckles and continued explaining. "So when when we reached the airport, I carried you out and here we are." He said referring to our surrounding. I just smile and nod.

I sit back on my chair and still wondering why I was in a really deep sleep. I don't sleep that long. Which is weird. I shrugged it off. I was probably just really tired.
