Chapter Eleven

~Entry 3/5/15

It's been a week since the big blowup with Derek's mom. I'd rather not go into detail about it. My sister is in town for the year so I'm staying with her for awhile.

"Hey Tiff! someone's at the door!" I shouted downstairs. "Can you get it? please? I'm with Kylee." She yelled back. I rolled my eyes and went down the stairs. When I opened the door Derek was standing In the rain. "What do you want?" I said harshly. He gently pushed me back and came in. "What is wrong with you? Just because my mom blew up doesn't mean you have to be mad at me too." He said with sad eyes. "Please Babe. I love you. Talk to me." I just stared at him.

I do miss him. "I love you too." I finally said. he looked at me and his eyes lit up. He pulled me into a hug and showered me in kisses saying, "I have my babe back..."

•Derek's POV•

I managed to make my mom apologize to tavonda so she's living with me again. She still cries. A lot. It hurts to watch her sob. I can make her smile for awhile then she just snaps. We're going to the doctor to see about her asthma. When we get there I take a good look at her. She doesn't look like herself. She has dark circles under eyes. Her eyes aren't as bright as usual. She's so pale. I wouldn't say deathly but she's damn near it.

"You ok Babe?" I asked concerned. She only nodded her head. I pulled her into my arms. She's crying again. "I love you." I whispered. "I love you too." She choked out.

When we left the doctor's we had a refill for her inhaler and we went home. She went strait to bed. I watched t.v. with mom for awhile then went to find Tavo. When I walked in the room she was just sitting on the bed staring at the wall. "Tavonda? are you ok?" I said. She only looked at me and nodded. I got in the bed when she laid down. I tried to hold her but she only pushed me away.
