Chapter Fifteen

"I hate you!!" I screamed as tears rolled down my face. "Leave! I don't want you anywhere near me Derek!!" Derek just stared at me and tried to look hurt. "But-" "no! no buts!! You're an asshole and I'm done with you!! you promised Derek!!" I yelled as more tears flooded my eyes.He tried to hug me. "Stop! can't you fucking hear me?! Get out of my life!!!" I yelled as I pushed him away. I didn't want him to go. But he hurt me again.

I was having a mental war with my heart. I love him. But... "Ok... I'm sorry." He said blankly then turned toward the door.

•Derek's POV•

"I'm sorry. Please babe. You know I love you. I-" "I hate you!!" Tavonda cut me off. I took a step back and watched as she cried. I could see the pain in her eyes. I'm sorry I thought. I couldn't produce the words. "Leave! I don't want you anywhere near me Derek!!" She screamed. I wanted to hold her and tell her I'm not going anywhere. I don't want to leave her alone.

I tried to hug her but she pushed me back. "But-" "No! no buts!! You're an asshole and I'm done with you!! you promised Derek!!" she yelled as more tears streamed down her face. I tried to hug her again and she yelled, "Stop! can't you fucking hear me?! Get out of my life!!!" I just stared at her for a minute. I finally turned and walked to the door. As I closed the door behind me I heard sobbing and a thump.

I quickly opened the door and she was on the ground in a ball gasping and sobbing at the same time. Inhaler. I need to find her inhaler. "N-no!" she gasped. "J-just let m-me die. I don't want t-to l-live." I looked at her and ran to the room and tore the drawers from the dresser. "Yes!" I said as I ran downstairs with the inhaler in hand. I put her head on my lap as I tried to revive her. I finally got her to take the inhaler.

"Thanks.." she mumbled. "You're welcome." I said. she only sat on the floor. "I guess I need to go.." I said. she looked at me with sadness filling those blue eyes. "Yeah..." She said with tears in her eyes. "I don't want to go." I said. "Derek. I trusted you again and you broke me again. I can't give you another chance." She said as she sobbed.

"Please Tavonda. I love you!! I know I fucked up!! please." I could feel tears brimming my eyes.
