Chapter 8: Collide

Renz POV
I hurriedly went to where Can is. Luckily I spotted him with ease. You can't deny how good he look on his ensemble. He really is a softer version of his older brother Charles.
"Can!" I shout to call his attention. "Did you wait up too long?" I ask him.
"No not really barely made here less than 15 minutes ago." - Can
"Good! How do I look? Did I went overboard?" I ask him for his honest opinion.
"You look great. Nothing else to worry you look very pleasing." He answered in a satisfactory smile.

"Let's go I bet they are already waiting for us!" I happily and excitedly ask Can. Then we look for the cafe.

Vince POV
"Calm down will you?" I heard my cousin barked at me after he noticed the uneasiness in me.
"Can you blame me? I'm not sure how will I face him!"
"You are just here to get that shirt you lent him not ask him on a marriage proposal! Geeez!" I retorted back.
Moments later I saw him and his friend get in the cafe. They both look good but my attention is really focus on Renz. I waved at them to call their attention. Renz happily smiled back half dragging his friend towards our table. They seat across us and I can't help look into how perfect Renz look right now.
"Uhm Vince this is my friend Can we are classmate at Bremerton University." He said introducing his companion.
"Hello and nice meeting you Can!" I told Can while shaking our hands.
"By the way, the guy here is my cousin. He is Lucas." Me introducing my cousin to both of them.
They shake hands as well and we decided to order.
"Vince here's the shirt you lent me the other day. You are a life saver. You don't have to but I really appreciate your kind gesture." Renz on his soft unrestrained voice.
After getting the shirt we decided to order.

Can's POV
I can't help but notice how happy Renz is meeting is so called one true love again. Well Vince looks okay to me. His skin is fair white, with perfect set of pearly white teeth and eyes that turns like a line whenever he smiles. He has this strong Asian features probably Korean.

His cousin is a little bit on his opposite side. He is well built with thick eyebrows and fair complexion. You can say that he is a total boy next door.

We ordered something to snack on while having conversation to know each other more. I learned that Vince is a freshman also taking aeronautics.
His cousin on the other hand is a Sophomore and is aiming to be an engineer! He doesn't look like one though and is a part time model for some sort of magazine.
After we finish our snack I thought that it's the end of the day for us. But I was wrong, Lucas ask if we would like to go the mall while waiting for the pyrotechnics show at night. I was about to say no when Renz suddenly said yes and my fate is sealed.
We decided to walk to the mall since it's just a few blocks away. Of course Renz and Vince are caught up by each other as if they are forgetting they have company. I chuckled in amusement. I can see that these two are fit for each other.
The sun is about to set and we are waiting for the pyrotechnics to lit the sky. I am sitting here at the park bench together with Renz and the rest.
The sky went from crimson to black showing the stars that decorate the night. There is a loud noise followed by some glowing lights in the sky the show has started. It was to good to behold. I look into how Vince is looking at Renz like he is memorizing every detail not wanting to miss an inch. I am happy for both of them wait but are they a couple already? Guess I have to wait until Renz break it to me.
After the show we decided to went home.
Renz and Vince excuse themselves for a while to get some drinks. I was left alone in the bench with Lucas. From my peripheral vision I saw a familiar figure! I hurriedly turn towards his direction but saw nothing.
I must be hallucinating!
I ask Charles if he can still pick me up but to my luck he's already at home. I then decided to commute to go home.
Arriving at home, I feel so drained! I went to take a hot shower before dressing on with my PJ's.
