Chapter 3: First Day

Can's POV
Charles and I went to school together. No need for a ride since it is very near in our village. "What time is your first class?" said Charles. "It's 9 AM and then I'm free until 1 PM. Why?" I answer him with another question. "Well l'd like to show you around school and also have lunch together sounds cool." I nod in response.

After walking a block away from our house I heard a car beep at us and then eventually stop. Right then the windows rolled down showing a familiar face. That asshole Tin he must be the one Charles told me to his friend that also lives nearby, unlucky me.

Tin's POV
It's the first day of school not that I am excited at all. After getting ready I hopped in on my wheels and head for the university. Just moment after I turn around a block I saw Charles walking with his younger brother.

I beep at them, roll down my window and motion Charles to get in, which he oblige half dragging his younger brother. From the mirror I can see his younger brother then our gaze met quickly he put a sour face. How ungrateful I offered him a ride and he will put that face?

"How are you buddy I see you left early yesterday." Charles stated. I just shrugged at him.

Can's POV
I quickly get off and look around after Tin parked his car. I talk to Charles a bit and then I heard a loud squeal. "Tin! Charles!!!" I turn to look where those loud noise is coming from. Good grief, to my disbelief I saw a group of girls running towards us. They keep closing there distance with us. "How are you Tin? Did you miss me?" I heard from one of the girls. Tin just look at her not even responding nothing at all as if he does not heard the girl. You can see the bored look that is plastered on his face. This jerk he really is anti social.

"Charles Marquez to the Dean's office." A message from the school intercom blasted on the entire campus.
"Hey Tin! I forgot that I need to see the Dean today for some documents that I need to complete. Can you please look after Can for me? Just show him around for a while and show him his room. He has his schedule already." Charles said before running towards their faculty building not waiting for Tin's approval and left me here with Tin who is staring at me blankly.

"You don't have to." I say to him without looking at Tin. But just then he drag me God knows where as if I am a dog that he needs to walk every morning. We arrive to what I believe is the gymnasium.

"Let go you asshole! First you stole a kiss from me and now you are dragging me across the school like a dog!" I shouted at him. I expect that he will shout back at me but I was wrong he just stare at me with his cold looking eyes. He look displease, and again he drag me at the back part of the gym which is a mini garden.
"Look you loudmouth idiot!" He said calmly but intense. "Who are you calling a loudmouth and an idiot huh?" "It's not that I wanted to be with you, but I can't say no to your brother which happen to be my friend. Also never bring up about that kiss never again!"

Why is he mad at me? I should be the one who should be mad right? He kissed me and dragged me and now he is the one getting mad? He pointed at a building across the garden. "That is your faculty building. I hope you get lost loudmouth." He said smirking.

I head for the faculty building scan it floor by floor until I found my first class. Good not late just in time. I found a seat near at the back and opted for it and decided to wait for the professor to come in.

"Can I take this seat?" I was interrupted from daydreaming I look at who's asking. "Yeah sure!" I said happily. "Thank you, I am Renz by the way and nice meeting you."

Charles' POV
"Charles Marquez to the Dean's office." I entrusted my younger brother to Tin. I almost forgot that I have to see the Dean today. I hope that those two can also be friends. Well Tin is a little restrain towards other people outside our circle of friends but I know that he will not let my brother get harmed. He maybe man of few words and straightforward but I know he is a nice guy. One truth that can be said about him is that he is cold hearted. I see him rejecting proposals from so many girls and boys that is crushing on him. Probably he just need to meet someone who's going to melt the ice that surrounds his heart. With that I have this feeling that it will happen soon.
