Chapter 76: Forgotten by the Mind, the Heart Remembers

Tin is shock and in pain.

Right in front of his eyes Can is awake but it seems his little devil has hit his head harder than he expected. He does not remember the things that he did to win him back much more the wedding that keep both of them excited.
The pain he is feeling is too unbearable. First he loss him because of the kidnapping fiasco, then Can was badly injured and now this, an amnesia.
Tin run away. His eyes are wet and his face is streaming with tears that never stop from falling.
Along the way his path crosses with Lucas who is now on his way back to Can's hospital room.
"Tin what happen? Why are you crying?" Lucas is puzzled he knows that Can is unconscious but he is very stable.
"I-it's Can, uhmm he is awake b-but he ahh does not remember me." Tin manage to say even with all the gagging due to the tears. Lucas gave him a friendly man hug. Tin continue to cry, he tried to be strong but this is just way too much for him to handle right now.

After the doctor check on Can, his brother Charles went back to see his brother. The doctor said that everything else looks fine with Can except for the selective amnesia that he has. They cannot tell yet if it's temporary or not.
"Can! How are you?" Charles asked although the doctor already check on him.
"I'm still feeling fuzzy but I think I'm healthy as a horse." Can sheepishly responded to him. Charles just gave him a faint smile.
"Charles is something wrong?" Can ask his older brother with concern look on his face.
"You don't remember the deeds Tin made just to have you back? Actually the two of you are getting married." Charles responded which give Can an eerie feeling. He hate him so much and now his brother is telling him about going to be married on Tin.
"That's just impossible!" Can half shout at Charles. But Charles showed him some newspaper clips and a video of their wedding as announce by their father before.

Can is astounded.
Indeed, he is set to marry Tin. But he does not remember not at all.
"Charles." Lucas called on to his man that caught the attention of both brothers. Standing there at the door is Lucas and behind him is Tin blood and flesh.
His eyes are puffy although the tears have stopped from falling but the impression of sorrow and sadness never left his face.
"I'll give you guys a minute." Charles said as he kiss his brother on it's forehead before leaving with Lucas. When the couple have left Tin went next to Can's hospital bed.
"How are you feeling?" Tin ask lost if he is gonna hold or kiss or both.
"I'm better now." Can responded flatly and coldly.
Tin sigh.

Without thinking Tin push Can back to his bed and kiss him.
Slow.
Passionate.
Can felt his lips being devoured.
He slapped Tin. Hard.
"How dare you!" Can shout at him.
Tin is about to say a word when the doctor comes in.
"Ahh! Mister Marquez the results are in. You can now go home although I need you to come on a weekly basis for monitoring. About the amnesia we are not sure yet if it's temporary or not." The doctor left in a hurry after that.

Since Charles has already left, Tin drove Can home. The drive is awfully silent, but Can always glances at Tin his face is so devastated. Then he saw tears form on the corner of Tin's eyes.
"We are here. You should go inside now. I'll bring your things after you." Tin said. His voice is soft yet Can cannot explain the mix of feelings he is able to see on Tin right now.
Can walk in to their house to be greeted by his parents who are so joyous because he is now back. His mom noticed Tin behind with bags still on his hands.
Tin places the bags at the table.

Tin is about to take a turn when Can's mom stop him.
"Tin! Son come join us for lunch." Can's mom said.
"Thank you for the offer but I have things to take care of." Tin politely declined the invitation. The lady just nod and hug Tin as if he is his own son.
Can is intently looking at the scene.
After that Tin drove away.
With his emotions betraying him Can felt a pang when he saw Tin walking towards the door. He went upstairs to take a shower and change into a more comfortable clothing.

"Mom! Just going for a walk!" Can said as he rushes down from the stairs down to the room.
Can wonder why his feet brought him in front of Tin's house.
"What are you doing here? You should rest." Tin said when he saw Can outside of the gate. He step outside and face him.

"I-I uhmm just wanted to thank you for driving me home." Can said to Tin who is now sulking and cannot look at him straight in the eyes.
"No worries. I'll go now I am a little tired." Tin said and then started to walk back inside. Can is following him with his eyes.
"Tin! Wait! Is it true about the wedding? You and I are we back together?" Can asked Tin. His face grew strong suddenly.

"If I tell you will you believe me? Will you come back? The answer is no because you hate me that much. I'm done hurting." Tin answered with tears now building up again in his eyes his vision of Can started to get clouded.

As Tin struggle to stop the tears he started backing out.
"Go home Can you should rest." With that Tin went inside the house.
Can is left their standing at the sidewalk of the street. He remain standing. He cannot take a single step away from Tin's house his feet felt heavy.

Can listen deep inside of himself.
He started to walk inside towards the Royce household and then he search for Tin.
"Must be in his room." Can said to himself.
When he open the door he is shock.
Tin is standing in his room naked with pajama on his hand. Can's face turn red.

"Can! What are you doing here?" Tin said as he walk to where Can is standing. He pull him inside his room and lock the door behind.
Tin turn his back to Can.
"I'll just get dress and then I'll walk you home." Tin said.
But Tin is surprise when Can hug him from behind.
