Chapter 52: Not Again

Can's POV
Mom and Dad's renewal of vows went well. It was attended by close relatives only as they requested it to be intimate. Too bad I cannot bring Tin with me and so is Charles boyfriend Lucas.

"Have you told him yet?" Charles said as he sit next to me. I sigh, I just don't know how to bring myself to tell him.

I just shake my head.
From the way Charles look at me I can see his concern.
"Do you think he will be ok?" I ask my older brother who just pat my back to show his support.
"The idea of you and Tin again doesn't sink well with me yet but if he truly loves you then he will understand. Besides, it's different from the first time. Just tell him, he deserves to know." I hug Charles, I am lucky to have him. His hug gives me the strength I require.
"Hmmm! My babies are having their siblings moment." Mom said with teary eyes.
"Mom! Stop it I just missed Charles that's all and I am not a baby anymore!" I whined.
"Aw! So you only miss your brother not me or Dad?" Mom faked her disappointment before messing Charles and my hair.

Tin's POV
"I am still against it but since it's my brothers call I'll go with the flow. But let me tell you this, make him cry again and I'll make sure it will be the end for you." Charles said after he end our phone conversation.
Everything is going well not as I planned it but the way I wanted it to be.

I am sitting on our living room waiting for Can to arrive, he told me that he will tell me something important. What could it be I wonder.

Waiting for almost thirty minutes I heard our gate with its metal cluttering. My heart skip as I watch Can come in after he closes the gate.

He is looking so adorable today!

I kiss him before giving him a tight hug and carry him towards the couch. His cologne is so enticing, it's complementing his natural scent.

"How was the party?" I asked so he can tell me story about it. I wanted to come but his parents has a relatives only rule. Well can't be helped anyway sooner or later we will be married and that will make me part of his family formally.

He smile first before he speak which melt my heart.

"It was fun! I've met my relatives that I have not seen for a long time and we exchange stories. I also told them about us, and they are looking forward to meet you." Having heard what Can said butterflies rampage on my stomach as if they wanted to come out and fly around us.

"Wow! My parents said the same thing. They wanted to meet us again after they came back from their vacation." I added to the moment. It was true of course, Dad called the other night checking on me if I was ok and I told them I've never felt any better since Can came back. They are indeed happy about the news.

Can smiled wide showing how delighted he is before giving me a sulking look.
"What's the matter?" I ask him since with deep concern.
"Daddy you love me right?" He ask me back which makes me shift to face him and look his eyes.
"I need to tell you something. Promise me you won't be mad?" I hesitated, but latter agree. I think this one is serious as I read between his lines.
"Uhmmm, the thing is. Uh, I need to go back to Australia." He manage to say with his eyes closed.

I was dumbfounded.
I don't know how to react.
He is leaving me, us again?
"Whaaaat?!!" I half shouted at him.
"Tin listen to me please." I can see the tears starting to form on his eyelids.
"Okay, tell me about it." I calmed myself wanted to hear his reason first. I've learned my lesson before that being impulsive does not end well for the both of us.
"The thing is I am still enrolled in the university and I only asked permission to leave early for the semestral break that's why I stayed here for almost 3 weeks. It's the last term of the school year already so I will be back to you again in less than three months." He explained, I don't want to be away from him but this is his future we are discussing about.

"When will you leave?" I simply ask him.
"The day after tomorrow." He answered.
I sighed, I don't want to be away from him again. Honestly I am conflicted.
"Are you mad? You are awfully silent." Can ask which brought me back to his attention.
"No, but I am sad. We've just been together and now you need to leave me again." I replied.
Then I hug him tighter than ever. I don't want him to leave me not again. But this time it's a different case, he's asking me to understand unlike the first time he left.
"You will come back right? To me?" I wanted to ask him for assurance.
"Yes! I will not leave you again after this one. I already told my parents that I'll transfer back after this semester in Australia. They were okay with it." He told me with a smiling face of his.
"Okay, but you will come back after you are done with everything there and you will tell me your school and your address. One more thing I will come when they send you back. Promise me we will be in constant communication!" I ask him to much but I can't help it.

"I will return Daddy, back to your arms again. I promise." He said and kiss me.
