Chapter 35: Approval

Tin POV
After all that has happened in the school grounds Emma still continue with her tirades towards Can. I'm normally tolerant but she is going way too far. One of this days I think I'm going to explode because of her doings.
Like what my dad told me I told Can that my parents wanted to meet him, at first he is hesitant but I managed to convince him.
"I'm on my way!" He said on his message.
Not too long I heard our doorbell chime.
He's here! Looking cute and adorable as always.

"Hello little devil!" I said to him while guiding him inside.
"Daddy I'm getting nervous." I can feel it as well.
"Don't be I am here with you." I want to reinforce his confidence.
I usher him to our living area.
"Oh! He's here already! Let me just finish setting the table so we can eat." I heard my mom say from our kitchen.
The uneasiness on him has receded a bit. I can see it on his face. I am currently lying with my head on his lap here at the couch when I heard my dad fake a cough to let us know that he is down here with us already. I swear I didn't saw him went down the stairs.
"Dad this is-" I was cut off.
"Will talk over this at lunch. I suggest you two get ready." He said monotonously.
Oh boy not now, is he not in the mood.
I sit up straight while waiting for us to get to the table. I hold Can's hand that is now cold and sweating in nervousness.
"It's going to be alright. I'm here with you." I said to him holding his hands even tighter.
Mom called us to get on the table to start our lunch.
We started enjoying the food when my dad started his interrogation.
"So what is your name again?" He said.
"His name is-" again I was cut off
"I'm asking him Tin not you."
"Good day sir! I am Can. It's a pleasure meeting you."
My dad just nod at Can.
"Tell me how you guys meet?"
"We met when I went to Charles home coming party." I told dad.
"Is he by chance related to Charles?" Dad ask me.
"Yes dad he is Charles younger brother." I replied.
Again another nod.
"So how did the relationship you and Tin start?" Dad is really straightforward while directing his question to Can.
"Uhmmm.." he hesitated. I just hold his hand.
"Well they had this drinking spree on our house unfortunately I was not able to join them since I am not feeling well that night. After the drinking is over Tin barge in my room instead of the guest room. I let him stay seeing that he is sober but I was mad at him because he invade my private space. Then we became unfriendly with each other." Can said in a long narrative.
"So how do the two of you became a couple if you are not in good terms." Dad being dad.
"We sort of find out that the reason behind our unfriendly action is because we want each others attention." Can explained.
"That's it?" I can see that dad is unsatisfied.
"Dad after that, it got to my attention that he does not hate me, so I made the first move. I drag him to the roof top and....."
"And?" - Dad
"And...we kissed...several times!" God! I am so embarrassed right now.
"Wait wait are you telling me that you initiate everything Tin?" Dad asking for clarity.
I just nod at him.
"That is new! You are typically distant and cold but Can melt you down! Tell me did something happen on Can's bedroom?" Mom joined in.
"Nothing!" - Can
"Yeah"! We both said at the same time.
"Who am I suppose to believe now?" Dad now drawn in confusion.
"Uhmm I think we kissed that night but it's blurry!" I told dad.
"Alright I am not against you guys but please hold on to your horses this is new concept for us and Can you may come by anytime. It's a wonderful thing that you can melt Tin down." Dad said in approval.
The lunch went out perfectly.

Emma's POV
I'm not done yet.
I went to the Royce household once more to convince Tin's parents about the marriage. I will not go home defeated today. Anger filled me when I reach Tin's house. Under the shade of the tree is Tin.
He is kissing Can!

"How dare you Can! Get your hands off him!"
