Chapter 28: Choices and Chances

Charles POV
After we arrived last night Can has never spoke a word. His eyes are still puffy and it seems life itself is being pulled out of his body.
Morning came and I can see the dark circles round his eyes. Did he ever sleep? He really fell deep for Tin for him to be like this.
I walk with him at school.
I saw Tin running towards us, he really wanted to make it up with Can and explain his side.
"Can! Please listen to me." Tin said pleadingly.
Just like my brother you can see the dark circles around his eyes. He tried to reason with Can but it seems that it's no longer working.
I tap Tin and mouth at him to escort Can to his room so that they can talk possibly. He got what I meant. Without hesitation he pull Can away from me. His hands are gripping so hard to his wrist.

Can POV
I felt betrayed.
My mind is messed up right now.
I arrive at school only to be drag away by Tin. We stop near the parking area.
"Can!" He said.
I choose to ignore him.

"Can that picture is a mistake!" He shouts at me I can see the tears forming in his eyes.
"You are the only person I'd wanted my lips to kiss." Now the tears are falling. It hit me Tin is crying he's in pain just as I do.
"Explain." I told him.
He began to tell me his side of the story.
Then I realized that I've been to hard on him. I should've listen to him first.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled to him.
"No, I'm sorry I should be more careful." He said to me.
"You know that I will always love you little devil no matter what." He added.
We were just standing contentedly looking each other.
"Tin!" It's that voice, it's her.
Then Tin look at the direction where the voice is from.
"Emma." Tin said.
"Can you tour me around the campus?" You left me the other day so I was not able to do some exploring.
"Sorry Emma but we are currently having an important discussion." Tin said trying to dismiss her.
"Oh! I see. Well then I'll wait for you to finish so you can tour me around." She said.
I don't know if she's just pretending or she does not get it that Tin don't want to spend time with her.
She then sat on one of the bench nearby.

Tin hold my hand as we walk towards where Emma is.
"Tin are you done talking can we go now?" She excitedly said to Tin.
"Emma I can't come with you." Tin said straight to her.
"But why is that?" She told Tin.
"Because Can and I need to spend time together." He reasoned out.
"Is that boy more important than me?" She said while raising her brow.
"Emma, you are important friend to me but Can is my life." Tin told him trying his best.
"What is that? Am I missing something?" She said frustration is building on her face right now.
"Yes, you see we are in a relationship." Tin said without hesitation.
"Noo!!! That can't be! I won't accept it." She said then she pull Tin away from me but he was quick. Instead of Emma pulling her away Tin pull me towards him and give me a blissful kiss.
She just stood there in shock.
"No this can't be!" You are not like this Tin.
"Emma we are a couple even before you came along." Tin still convincing her.
"Nooooooo!!!!!! She shouted at us.
Then all of a sudden Emma runs towards me.
"Come here you little prick! Tin is only meant for me." She said while running on my direction her anger can no longer be contained.
Tin quickly come to my rescue, he grab Emma before her fingers can reap my skin. Then he set himself between me and Emma.
"You are not like this Tin. You have to come to your senses!"
"No Emma you need to stop being unreasonable. I'm happy being with him. He gives me more reason to wake up each morning."
Displease Emma take her leave.
"We will see about that." She said before disappearing.
