Chapter 72: Lead

Tin is frustrated.
With all the resources that they have Can is still missing and so is his friend Renz. It's been running three weeks now since the two boys got kidnapped.
Even if they all wanted to be strong their hope of finding Can is stuck in the gutter. Not even a single lead about the case is establish, the police still has no clue about who might be the one behind the kidnapping.

Back in Australia....

While Keith is lost in his own world, Ken suddenly barge in his room while he is still only has a towel wrap around his waist. He just finished taking a shower.
He is about to lock his door when Ken busted in and so when Ken open the door the other side hit Keith in the face hard enough to make him fall.
Ken's eyes widen in shock when he sees his cousin's junk dangling between his legs.
He immediately turn backward.
"I'm sorry Keith! Can you cover yourself so I can help you out?" Ken said to his cousin who is now complaining and cursing because of the pain.
Soon Keith is back on his feet.
"What is so important that you just barged into my room without knocking? Has your manners been flushed out of your system? Geez!" Keith continue to mutter and complain.

But Ken paid no attention to him. Instead he ask about Tom.
"Where is Tom? I haven't seen him lately." Ken ask Keith.
Keith just shrugged implying that he does not know anything his older brother has been up to.
Then Ken flash his phone in front of Keith.
Keith's eye widen in shock and disbelief.
"Is this true?" Keith asked his older cousin which only gave him a nod.
"Can has been kidnapped and been missing for three weeks now!" Ken said to Keith who have just recovered about the news.
"No way! It can't be! Tom will probably worry if he sees this!" Keith said but then something clicks in his wild mind.

Ken is just staring at him.
"Nooooo! So you are saying Tom could be the person behind this?" Keith figuratively asked Ken who is now making a duh that's why I'm asking you look in his face.
Keith facepalmed.
"If what we ate thinking is true this is a serious trouble for the royal family, not to mention that Can is from a prominent family back at his home country and so does his boyfriend or now fiancée." Ken said giving Keith an idea how big the mess could be if not intercepted.
"Have you told anyone yet?" Keith asked.
His cousin just dismissed it.
"I've done some checking and what I found is terrible. Your brother Tom purchased a land in Can's home country few months back. Now Can is missing and your brother rarely comes home." The two royals paled upon the connection of what is happening.
"We need to do something." Ken said as he look at his cousin.

Ken decided to book a flight in secret to Thailand only Keith knows about it.
Upon arriving he ordered his guards to secure the estate that Tom has bought but they have to make sure that they will not be caught. Tom knows them he is familiar with Ken's royal guards.

Late in the afternoon, Ken landed at Thailand. He inform Keith that he has arrived safely.
Not wasting any moment, Ken is now on a car ready for the arduous task ahead of him. He still want to believe that Tom is innocent but his gut feeling never failed him not even once and now he is hoping it will for it is his cousin who is at stake.
After a long and tiring trip he Ken arrived at the place.

No wonder Can cannot make an escape. The place wherein he is held is impossible to break.

Ken then order his royal guards to surround the area. He also has half of Keith's royal guards with him.
Then Ken did the inevitable.
He stormed the lighthouse and it's nearby structures. Standing at the door of the lighthouse the guard in duty cannot do anything against him. Confirmed! It is Tom's royal guards and Ken being a prince himself the guard simply side step making a way for him.

"Where is Tom?" Ken said calmly but his eyes are furious. The guard he is speaking to has its tongue taken by a cat. He is unable to speak seeing how Ken is angry right now. But his eyes does the talking, Ken makes his way upstairs the tall lighthouse. The guards scrambled but cannot do a single thing about the intruder.

"Is Can being held in here?" Ken ask the guard who man the main door that secure the ladder to the second half of the tower. The guard is pale silent.
"I am asking you! Do you want me to repeat myself?" Ken shout at him. This is not his nature but the situation calls for it.
"Yes your highness at the top most room of the lighthouse." The guard said to him.

Ken send a message to Keith confirming their theory and just in case he send also a coded message to his personal voicemail and message his older sister Daphne.
Ken continue heading upstairs before reaching the last door.
Holding the door barrel he force it open.
There he saw Can, laying on the bed.

The room looks well kept but you cannot deny the fact that Can is sleepless and sad.
Next to him is Tom.

"Can!"
