Tin's POV It was late afternoon when I received a message from my dad imposing that I need to come home straight after school. I did as I have been told, after dropping Can I went straight to our house. When I arrived I saw dad sitting on the couch by the living room. "Son please get your clothes change and we need to discuss something important." Dad said upon arriving. I just gave him a nod before heading to my room. After few minutes I went back to our living room and I notice that it lively downstairs. I continue descending on the stairs when I noticed a familiar silhouette, it's Emma! Is this related to what Dad said about something important to discuss? I make my presence known by greeting them. "Tin!" Emma chant happily. "Hi." I deadpanned. I am starting to dislike this gathering. We all seat comfortably on the couch, Emma is scooting herself again on me. I tried to be as nice as possible to her. "So, Tin the reason we are here is because I wanted to discuss the future of our families." Emma's dad dropped his statement like a bomb. "Our future?!" I said trying to make things clear. "Yes, well as you know our families have been business partners for decades now and I know how you and Emma has been since you were little." He continued. I am not liking this as each passing time goes on. "So when Emma told me that she likes you I wanted to-" "No! I am not marrying your daughter uncle." I said cutting him off. "Whaaaaat?!!" All of them said at the same time. "You heard me, I have high respect for you uncle and your family but please don't force me into this." I told them with firm resolve. I saw my dad massaging his temple. "I think we need to give our kids some talk?" I heard my mom told everyone. They said their goodbyes and left.
Tin's Dad POV I was shock as they were after that statement. "Care to explain?" I told Tin. "It's just as I have told you, I won't marry her." This is not gonna be easy. "Any valid reason why?" "Dad! I don't have any feelings for her! She's just a friend to me." "Is that all Tin?" I want to know everything from him straight. "Dad!" He mumble trying to dismiss the conversation. "Tin Royce! I am asking you. Is there something that I need to know? Tell me everything and don't make me repeat myself. Are we clear?" I can see the uneasiness on his face. But he decided to talk. "I have a boy - -, boyfriend already!" "Whaaaat?" Seems like a thunder hit me when his words reach my ears. "I have a boyfriend and I love him that's why I can't be with Emma! Dad please don't force me into this I am begging you!" Tin said his eyes are now watery. "Bring that boy of yours here, I need to speak with him! I never expected this from you" I said not disappointed but this is just unbelievable.
Emma's POV At Emma's place after that cafeteria incident. "Dad! Will you approve if Tin and I get married?" I ask my Dad. I know he will approve of this since he practically know Tin since we were kids and besides they are his business partners. I won't keep quiet while that Can take Tin away from me. I will not allow him. Few days later Dad told me that we are going to visit the Royce household to discuss an important matter. Finally! I said to myself. When we arrived, uncle told me that Tin is just getting change. I am excited about today! I saw Tin he looks so good today well everyday. His wearing a simple shirt but you can't deny how hot he is.

He greeted us. We are all comfortably sitting when the talks began. My hopes are really high, Tin will be mine and with our parents here I know Tin will not refuse. But I was wrong. "No! I am not marrying your daughter uncle." Tin said to all of us cutting the statement of my dad. His words are cold and firm. I try to control the tears that are about to escape my eyes. He just rejected me with the most important persons for us. Our parents decided to call it a day and head home. I immediately run to my room and let the tears flow. It's his fault that boy! If he did not corrupt Tin then we will be happy together. I will make him pay for this! "Emma! You can talk to me if you needed someone to speak with." I heard mom from the opposite side of the door. "No leave me alone!" I shout at her. I am fuming with anger. Can it's all because of you. You will regret this.
