They went to where Renz is.
Can and Renz are now facing each other on the opposite sides of the table while Tin is ordering something for them to snack on.
"So how is the marriage preparations?" Renz ask as he sip on his drink while fishing for the pearls hidden on it. He is happily sipping on his drink waiting for Can to answer him.
"It is good! Well best feeling ever. I never thought I'll be marrying him you know what happened. But I think I never really hated him, disappointed maybe. It's all in the past now and I can only look forward to the years together with him." Can said as he quickly reminisce on the things that they went thru and his imagination is in flying colours thinking of what sort of future they will share.
Renz just nod and take another sip.
Before they can continue their conversation Tin joins in with a tray of food and cups of cold drink for them. Seeing what Tin is holding Can's eyes glowed in happiness. This does not go unnoticed.
"Still into food ey?" Renz said as he tease Can on being a foodie. He remembers how many times they ate in a day back when they were still classmates.
Tin simply smile.
Tin and Can are sitting together facing Renz. Can began to eat the food that Tin bought for them forgetting the reason why the three of them gathered on that day.
"Ah! Renz I am inviting you to our wedding please don't say no!" Can said with puppy pleasing eyes. Renz just chuckle as he sway his head left and right. "Can I already told you I'm coming when we spoke over the phone last time remember?" Renz told Can as if his friend has totally forgotten their initial conversation.
"I know but still I wanted to invite you personally! You can also bring Vince with you since Lucas will be there for sure." Can said making sure that Renz will not have a reason to decline and he knows that Vince is the best reason for it.
But Renz expression became dark his face saddens as he heard the name. This makes Can curious. His friend expression tells it all something bad happen.
"Did I say something wrong?" Can said with apologetic tone.
Renz smile bitterly. He has not say a word but Can knows it's nothing good. Tin pat Renz shoulder. He knows how it feels, losing the person you love. He has been on the same shoe.
"You know you can talk to me. I am your friend. I won't ask you about it I'll let you decide when you are ready." Can said as he tries to cheer Renz up.
Renz felt happy. He has a friend like Can. Even if he left before he always sends him a greeting on facebook although they never had a long conversation but he is happy knowing Can never forget about him. Can even send a simple birthday card a week before his actual birthday. He cannot ask Can back then knowing full well that Can is fighting a problem on his own. That is the reason he never told him. Renz does not want to put another baggage for Can to think about.
"Can! I'm honestly not okay but I'm doing better. I am happy that you are living your dreams with Tin I'm a bit jealous but don't worry too much. I'll tell you everything but not now, we are here to celebrate your engagement with Tin. I don't want to ruin the moment." Renz convincingly said which Tin agreed.
"He'a right! For now let us enjoy." Tin said to uplift the spirit on their table.
The table become lively again as Can tell the story of how he and Tin manage to regain each other. Renz shows nothing about bitterness or jealousy about Can being happy. He is indeed happy for the two of them.
They are joking at each other when Tin's phone rang. He check who is calling him. It was Nathan.
He answered the call.
"Hello! Yes, we are here. Go there? Like now?" Tin cut his conversation with Nathan and turn to Can.
"The guys are asking if we can meet in the cafe near the Leisure Park, Renz come with us." Tin said as he ask Can's approval.
"Okay! Renz you will come with us you can't say no!" Can said.
Tin went back to his phone.
"Hello Nathan! It's fine we will meet you there. Alright. Sure." With that Tin drop the call and went back to Can and Renz.
"So where exactly are we going?" Renz ask Tin.
"It'a the new coffee bar at the Leisure Park alley. Cony said they have the best desserts on offering around town." Tin said as he explain what Nathan told him over the phone. He has never been there much less that the cafe exists.
The two other boys just nodded and the three of them began to walk towards outside.
"Wait for me here, l'll just get the car." Tin said once they reach the front door of the cafe.
Both Can and Renz are waiting patiently still having some baby talks about Can marriage when a black van stops right in front of them and grab Can as the man with face covered place a handkerchief on Can mouth and nose before he went unconscious.
Renz is shock! Can is being kidnapped! He shout asking for help when one on the accomplice grab him as well doing the same thing they dis to Can. His vision began to blur before everything went black.
Tin heard Renz shout so he turn back and saw what happened. He is running towards them, but things happen too fast before he can reach them both Can and Renz was taken away.
"Caaaaaannnn!!!!! "
