Chapter 74: Go Away

Ken is having a discussion with the doctor when one of his royal guards approaches them.
"Your Highness, another guy has been found at the base of the lighthouse. He is fine though." Ken nod and motion him to bring the other guy which happens to be Renz in the hospital so he can be check by the doctors.
Tom noticed how Ken is looking at him.

Ken walk towards him.
"So you managed to kidnapped two individuals? You are impossible!" Tom kept his silence as he continue to watch the nurses tending on Can.
His eyes are still puffy, while the tears have ceased from falling but the guilt is still eating him from inside out.

Soon the guard he sent to fetch Renz arrived at the hospital vicinity. After the doctors have tend to him it seems he is fine both physical and psychological. Renz have not incur any sort of trauma.
"Hello! How you are related to Can?" Ken asked him.
"I am his friend. We've been kidnapped and..." Renz began to cry, without being able to finish his sentence. He is afraid and happy at the same time.
Ken hush him.
Then Renz, remembered Can.
"Can! We need to save him!" Renz said in an outburst.
"He was rescued before you did. But not as lucky as you." Ken said before he switch his attention towards a room with glass panels. Renz turn to look at where Ken's gaze are focusing.
Tears then started to fall.
"Caaaan!" Renz is only able to manage to say his name.

Inside the room is Can's body laying on the hospital bed with tubes attached to him. His head has been gauzed with eyes tightly shut. Several equipments monitor his heart rate, breathing and others.
"The doctor said he has stabilise. At least his life is no longer in danger now." Ken said to calm Renz. The boy nodded in delight that is a good news.

Tin is beyond worried.
His heart beat suddenly went fast. It seems his body is saying something not good happened.
Suddenly his phone rings. It is Charles, after talking to him he run fast to change his clothes and then head to the place Charles had told him to.

Renz was able to breathe a sigh of relief.
He is now safe, so is Can although it would be much better if Can has not been bed ridden in the hospital.

Outside the room he notice a guy who's eyes are puffy.
"Do you know Can?" Renz ask him unaware that the person he is talking to right now is no other than Tom the mastermind behind the kidnapping and the reason Can is now in the hospital bed.

"Renz!" That voice is familiar, Renz turn to see if he's gist is correct and he is. The voice belongs to Tin no less.
"Good thing you are safe! Where is Can? Please tell me!" Tin beg for answers. He has been looking for Can since he went missing.
Instead of answering Tin, he pointed his fingers towards the glass panel in front of them.
Tin's eyes widen. In front of him is Can on his hospital bed sleeping or unconscious he doesn't know.
"Caaaan!" He held on the glass panel that separates him from Can. His eyes swell giving a stream of warm tears.
Soon Charles came in his parents tagging along.

Tom's eyes intently look at Charles, he looks so much like Can. If he doesn't know that Can is on the hospital bed he would run to this guy thinking he is Can himself. Their resemblance is way too much.
"That is Charles, Can's older brother the only sibling he has." Renz inform him. Tom kept staring at Charles. Just like Tin tears suddenly form on his eyes when he see Can.

Tom's guilt went to another level when he witness how many lives he had inflicted pain and sadness on. He stand up and walk away from the area. He cannot bare to see the sadness on the faces of Can's family.

Tom walk away.
Renz notice him, before Tom can take another step his movement is halted by Renz himself.
"Why are you leaving? Are you the one who rescued us?" Renz ask him and Tom cannot look into him straight.
"Is something wrong?" He ask again.
"I'm sorry!" Then his tears began to fall instantaneously.
Although Renz is puzzled as to why Tom is asking for his forgiveness he just nod and let him cry on his shoulders he also hug him.

Can's parent move to the doctors office to discuss his condition. His life is no longer in danger but Can has not made any motion since he was brought to the hospital. The doctor declared him under comatose.
His parents heart break upon hearing the news. They decided to move him to a better hospital that has better facility.

Ken went to check on his cousin Tom. The consequences of his selfish action is now starting to surface. With Can ending in the hospital, next would be the criminal liability he will face plus the royal family.
"I should've have listen to you." Tom said to Ken.
"You may be a prince but you are still human. Prone to committing mistakes and wrongdoings. But that does not mean you cannot correct it." Ken said to him trying to console his cousin.
"What do you mean?" He ask.

"Surrender yourself. Admit the crime you did."
